I know it is the middle of summer, but I am so cold, sooo cold. I have my heater on, blankets, long clothes and still I am cold. I was preggo with Rainey at the same time 2 years ago and I was so HOT! very funny how the body works, I have been taking 3 baths a day in hot water- is that bad?? But it feels so good :eyesroll

I'm ALWAYS cold lately, except when I'm asleep.. I normally wake up soaked, literally, in sweat .. yet every waking hour I'm freezing cold. Been doing the bath thing a lot too :D esp. like Jenniebug said, this summer's been more like early spring than anything else up here, normal temps are 80s this time of year, and it's been in the 50s-60s all summer

If you are feeling cold in August make sure you get your thyroid checked out! That is a sign of hypothyroidism, which often times can be brought on by pregnancy. It is probably nothing, but if it is hypothyroid it is important to get it checked out ASAP during pregnancy. Hope you are feeling warmer soon :)

It's been cool here in Pittsbutgh the last couple of days (60's) and on top of that I have the flu!! So I am feeling cold, but nothing related to pregnancy I guess... I usually feel VERY VERY hot when I am pregnant, so it is kind of nice thelast trimester will be during the winter!!!

I feel cold but I like it. I feel sick if I get warm. My family is freezing! I hate the air but have had it on set at like 65 degrees! :eek Still I wake up in the night drenched in sweat!

We have been in the low temps too- NW Washington, but still it seems weird to have the heat on in Aug. I will tell my MW A.S.A.P. I also have been getting sick if I get too hot, like taking a shower- I feel nasty, but taking a bath for some reason I love that and I am not a bath girl!

if any of you get worried about your thyroid, there are lots of things you can do at home. the most popular lately being to eat a tbs or 2 of good quality coconut oil a day. it tends to balance it. i'm all for taking care of myself before going to a scare provider. i read being cold can also mean needing iron or maybe when it's along with other symptoms? did i read that or imagine it?
as for me, sometimes i'm hot sometimes i'm cold. the only thing i can figure is that i've been out of town staying in a house with a/c which i haven't lived with in forever. it doesn't lend it self to a steady temp like our place with out it does. and the fluctuations started when i got here.
