I spend most of my time these days working on the fixer-upper house DH and I bought-and moved into- several months ago. (and raising our 3 yo DD)
Painting, insulating, roofing, wiring, etc... but my main concern is the plumbing I've been doing lately, and the fact that we'd love to conceive again sometime in the coming months. The MAPP gas tank for the torch has some scary warnings on them, but I'm not clear on what they really mean by Reproductive Harm. (btw, I only do the yucky stuff when DD's out of the house!)
How much should I worry? Can I finish the last few things, then wait a few months to detox? Should I stop right now?
DH works such long hours, and our budget is based on DIY-everything, so it's tough to get things done if I can't be the one to do them.
Does anyone know of a good resource for finding such information?
