With dd I puked every day for the first 4 months ... I lost 20+ lbs.

I was hoping ... because each pregnancy is supposed to be different ...that I'd get to avoid it this time around ... and so far so good ... a really mild 24 hr nausea that I can definately live with.

Today however (started off fine) ... I cleaned the house this morning ...was playing with dd ... lay down on the floor to nurse her around noon and when I stood up I was so dizzy that I walked into the wall. I figured that I had just stood up too fast but it never went away ... I wound up laying on the floor for close to 2 hours with it progressing from dizzy, to spinning world to overwhelming nausea and vomiting ... finally the little boy I watch in the afternoons showed up ...I put him into the crib for his nap (LOL he's the only one that has ever slept in dd's crib) and lay down for a nap with dd ... woke up 2 hours later (when he woke up in the crib) ... I was /am still dizzy but at least no longer nauseous ... and I ate a HUGE dinner as I was toatlly ravenous.

I am constantly drinking water but I think I'm not eating enough (dd is suddenly nursing ALL the time ... and she was hardly nursing at all a month ago). So now my poor body is trying to grow a baby, nurse a toddler and maybe feed itself. I think I may need to start early on the midnight snacking.

Anyways I'm just whining ... this is not my favorite part of being pg.

Oh you poor thing! That's nobody's favorite part. :( I think I might have another week or so of being ok, but I just know it's coming. So sorry you're already facing it and hoping it won't be as severe as last time.

I'm feeling better today ...just trying to stuff myself with food before any potential nausea sets in ...

anyone have any tips ...easy brainless snack ideas?

Thank you for the sympathy! :love

my favourites are pretzels (if I'm really feeling bad)
Or almonds...I toast them in the microwave..nice and bland but healthy too!
sometimes chocolate covered peppermint patties are the only thing! :LOL

i second the pretzels. watermelon is delicious these days. it's good all the time! when i'm feeling a little nauseated from a meal i'll eat a slice or two of watermelon and it makes it all better.
