Like nothing is comfortable at all! Plus it all looks.. well not so good. I refuse to spend more money on stupid maternity clothes... but I haven't got anything to wear! :irked:

I look at what's available and nothing screams "buy me!" "you know you want to wear this!"

GDI I just wanna be comfortable... not have to be hiking up my pants every 3 minutes and look half way decent... oh and did I mention cheap? :p

I know! I hate maternity clothes in general... the style is just so not me, and like you say they're never comfortable. I lucked out with a few pieces that are specifically for pregnant women, that are made out of knit cotton and are not at all... matronly if you know what I mean. ;) But those have pretty much had to last me through all my pregnancies! Otherwise I just wear stretchy clothing, for instance I have some hippie-type skirts that I normally wear (when not pregnant) that have elastic waistbands stretchy enough to see me through pregnancy. That makes about, oh, four outfits total, I get a little tired of wearing the same thing all the time, but it's better than what else is out there!

Oh man, am I EVER!! I had to start wearing maternity at 8 weeks with my son, since my belly popped out so quickly. I got a nice 6 month reprieve of regular clothes, and BAM!! Pregnant again, and back in maternity!! I have been wearing the same 3 freaking summer outfits for two summers in a row now, and I'm so sick of wearing the same things over and over. I wish it would just get cold already so I could at least wear some pants or something and get a little variety in here!

Oh, am I ever! The underbelly styles all want to fall down, and I hate having two layers over my belly, and I hate the elastic up to under the boobs, I feel like peewee herman!

At this point, my uterus causes a bulge at my sacrum, between my ribs, which makes all of my bras too tight, and the tanks with the built-in bras don't cover my belly anymore. I feel like Tweedle Dee or something.

It's a total sickness. I LOVE maternity clothes!! I also LOVE being pregnant tho.. I'm only aggrivated with my panties lately. Im taking the plunge today and buying some GOOD maternity panties to last the rest of the time.

I hated all my mat clothes by the end of my first. So I bought some velour sweat pants and yoga style pants and some men's t-shirts and that's what I wore the last few weeks of my first. It was nice 'cause they fit after I had the baby too, so I had "non-maternity" clothes until I shrunk down enough to fit in normal sized women's clothes.

I just bought some cargo pants and a plain pair of black pant at Mimi Maternity...they don't look very maternity at all. A little big still, but...

Yes! I HATE maternity clothes! Either I'm the weirdest freakishly big-bellied woman on earth, or Old Navy and Motherhood never really meant to get you past 20 weeks :irked Even my swimsuit gaps and shows some belly now!

My shirts cling too tightly to my belly, so close that you can see where the elastic is on the pants - really uncomfortable elastic. And I don't have a single pair of shorts to wear, and totally can't spend $25 to get ones that fit right.

I like my dressy and casual maternity clothes okay, but HATE my professional ones. I also hate the pants, like plantmommy. Bottoms just don't fit, no matter what. Yesterday, my safety pin bent badly on my black pants and I spent the rest of the day hoisting them up. Today, I went ultra-casual and am wearing Motherhood jeans. They're low rise and boy, am I glad my shirts long. I'd have a serious case of plumber butt for the world to see if it wasn't. Thankfully, it's only my boss and me here today. Nobody else at all.

Never thought about it but I bet it depends on what you have to wear. I'm a full time SAHM and I don't go ANYWHERE I have to dress up for. I live in shorts, overalls,t-shirts and sandals. I can see how it would be less fun in a suit.

I just hate only having 4 outfits to wear. And, I refuse to wear real pants for this pregnancy. I bought 2 pair of maternity yoga pants, and that's all I am wearing! No jeans digging into my pelvis when I sit, no panels showing, not low-rise pants falling down. I'm protesting!!!! Stretchy, comfy, yoga pants only!

I have yoga pants, and they're so comfy... but I can't stand the rear view! Seriously, I put them on, and I love how they feel, but when I check myself from behind, they go straight back in the closet. I hate my big lumpy butt and thighs. :guilty But that's all the time, not just while I'm pregnant.

I spent my last pregnancy in those damn panel-front shorts and t-shirts that come down practically to your knees, and I promised myself I wasn't doing that this time. I looked much bigger all over than I wanted to. I see all these ads with svelte models wearing clingy tops, and I've gone a lot more that way this time (when I leave the house, anyway-inside I'm still in boxers and a tee.) I can't afford expensive ones either, so I shop Goodwill, consignment stores and Ross.

By far my favorite outfit this pregnancy is a stretchy black tank (not maternity) I got at Goodwill for .99, and a pair of red bandanna-print capris from Wal-Mart, of all places. They fit, they're so comfy, and they're so cute! $14! They have the 3" wide elastic only on the front of the waistband, so it doesn't cut you in half... I wish they had a bunch more colors. :love

I'm glad it's been a cool summer, I have no luck with maternity shorts. I've had the best luck with finding pants at thrift stores, drawstring pants that don't look like sweatpants. I also found a pair of my mom's maternity jeans, they have a front panel, but they fit me great and are actually comfy. I find I like shirts that are a size larger better than maternity shirts. If I'm wearing low-rise pants, they cling around under my belly better and I feel more covered up.

Anyone having a hard time with shoes? My feet are swollen, all I can wear are my teva-style sandals. For a while I could wear my sneakers unlaced, but now my feet don't even fit in.

I'm so sick of them also started wearing them about 10 weeks along b/c i poped out early with baby #3. I actully started selling mine already on the TP b/c i'm so sick of looking at them. I only have 1 week to my due date so hopefully the few outfits i saved will last me through the sucky time!!!

Can you wear a Motherhood Maternity size large? I have an awesome pair of underbelly khaki shorts that come to a little over mid-thigh on me that I NEVER wear .. If you can use them, or anyone here can, LMK and I'll send them your way for shipping cost!

I hated my clothes the first time around. I didn't want to spend a lot of time shopping, so I went only to 1 or 2 stores, and didn't want to spend a lot of money. I ended up mostly clothes that didn't fit right, in colors I didn't really like that much, and that weren't very comfortable. I wanted to burn them when my pregnancy was over. I decided no way I will do that again, esp. since I needed maternity at about 13 weeks this time.

I posted on the trading post and got some great deals from others about my same size. I also got sooooo lucky that a friend of mine from work loaned me all her maternity clothes (about $500 or more worth) and said, "enjoy!" Now I love my maternity clothes, and feel like they are so much cuter and more stylish than I had last time! So I suggest borrowing if possible, and if not, try the trading post, as the mamas here have some great clothes!

I have exactly enough clothes to get through the week and a few cute, but not work apropriate outfits and I am sick of them all. Plus it has been cold and rainy which makes me feel like I have to buy fall clothes right now but i have no money. I can't wait to wear my rwgular clothes again...assuming I'll ever fit in them.

I am really sick of maternity clothes and I too think that they are a waste of money since you wear them for such a short time. I have two pairs of maternity jeans and I always worry that my panel is starting to show--ugh!!! Then I have my comfy lounge capris and pants, non-maternity, that just slide down my belly. I will be really glad to wear normal clothes again!

I wonder what a real nice fitting pair of jeans feels like? :scratch

I have one pair of shorts that go under my tummy and I love those. I also have a pair of shorts that have a wide band and drawstring, love them so comfy.

Detest pannels :irked:

For tops I just wear most of my regular ones, I dont show much for for me is nice.

I do wish there where some classy looking maternity clothes, I suppose there are they are no doubt $$.

I am a yard sale and thrift shop person.
