View Full Version : ADHD gluten/casein free diet - who's tried it? mama2jonah 07-16-2002, 03:01 PM My son is not diagnosed with ADHD, but he has a lot of risk factors and symptoms which worry me. The diet itself had the beneficial side effect of increasing the range of foods my son would eat but was definately not a panacea. What we did find out, throught the diet and some blood work was that my son had all kinds of other food sensitivities which were affecting him. A healthy rotation diet seems to suit him best, and limiting corn. Check out the information on this website- very interesting stuff and I think it explains why the diet works for some kids: www.nids.net Stacie 07-18-2002, 09:16 AM Try to go to www.gfcfdiet.com they have a really good section on success stories. And good bulliten board too. How to get started. Obtaining food. What gluten is hidden in. Great site. |
