Hi.
I am very new to message boards, but am interested in joining in with other moms due in February. I am due 2/23/05. My name is Susan. I've been with my husband, David for almost eight years. We have a seven-year-old son, Griffin, and two guinea pigs, Mocha and Daisy. Griffin has dubbed our new baby "Jupiter" and is very excited to be a big brother. I'm using a lay midwife and planning a homebirth, as we had with Griffin. So far, it's been a nice experience--though I am surprised a bit at how quickly I've gained some weight and am now looking a bit pregnant! No complaints, just a lot of excitement. Hope you are well. I look forward to getting to know you, learning and sharing a bit, too.

I am Lisa and I am due February 1st.

I am also planning a homebirth with a team of CPM's (2 CPM's and a student). I have a little girl who will be 4 in December and she is still nursing about once a week, and she may wean during this pregnancy, her nursing has cut back dramatically in the last 4 months.

Hi, Susan! My name is Jenni, and I hang out on these message boards when I am pregnant. I have a 21 month old, Megan, and I am due with #2 on February 7th. I am going to a hospital with a great OB, but like last like I am planning a drug-free birth with lots of family and friends by my side. I am not as much into all of the natural stuff as a lot of the people on here, but I love to chat and get lots of healthy and different ideas from all sorts of people.
I'd say the most confusing part of these boards, at first, are all of the abbriviations people use, so if you need help reading some of these posts, just ask!
