Hello pretty ladies...
I miss a couple of days around here and there seems to be a ba-zillion new posts. :)
To those who are feeling sick, I feel your pain. My first pregnancy was spent with me within close proximity to the toliet bowl. :( 2nd and 3rd pg's are MS free and now here I am trying not to move too quickly because the "errrr-pee's" feeling creep up all too fast on me. Not fun.
VBAC Mammas -- Please do not fall into the mind set of thinking you have to grow a small baby in order to birth vaginally. Big babies get born, no matter if their mammas are 5ft 2in or 6ft 4in. I was c/sect'ed after FTP with my 2nd... He was 9½ lbs. The dr told me I was lucky that they took him my c/sect because "he would have torn me to bits if the baby had been born vaginally". 4 years later I gave birth to Gabriel who was 0lb 2oz, with bigger head and chest measurements. I am 5ft 2in. Before I started having babies I weighed 106lbs soaking wet. (not that I weigh any where close to that now :LOL)
Babies heads mold, pelvises open and expand, mother shift their positions and babies DO get born. Never doubt your ability as a woman to bring life forth unhindered. And if any Dr or MW tries to tell you that you need to grow a small baby in order to give birth, please turn right around and walk far, far away from them. They will use that "trump" card to force your hand with induction or repeat c/sect near term. I've seen it with my VBAC
Anyone who wants to see a pic of me and the family... Click on the link in my siggy. And I agree with the concensus - we have a bunch of beauties with this group.
I'll try to check in later and reply to more posts individually but just wanted to pop in and say hi. Hope everyone has a great day.
