I'm thinking of trying to plan another get together for us all. Maybe a Friday in two weeks? I was thinking we could do a picnic at Kapiolani park. (Across form the aquarium - or in the general area) It's nice and shady and the kids can run free in the grass.

I invited Mothra, too. I don't have any plans or cares about what we do. If anyone wants to go somewhere else or do something else while we're there or after a bit, that's fine with me. I'm pretty easy. (Don't tell my dh.)

Ok, I'm not sure what I should bring. Someone mentioned a picnic? DS is actually eating his lunch right now so I'm probably just going to bring some snacks for the kids. Raisins, cheerios etc. Should I bring something else too? I can swing by the store on the way.

Hi mamas. I really wish i could of gotten together with you all. I hope to meet the rest of you in the near future. We just got home tonight and we are drained. My FIL passed away this morning. We all spent the night because we knew it was going to be soon. It was the hardest day of my life. My poor dh is so confused and sad as am I. I think the service will be friday and then dh will go back to work soon. Most of you know my dh was deployed..well they are letting him stay here(thank God!). Anyhow when things settle back down and i am not so sad i will be back on here. I will miss you all in the mean time. I hope to still make some playdates to keep myself and the girls active and out of the house. Take care and ttys.

Jessica, I'm so sorry. I know what you are going through. My MIL died from breast cancer just a little over a year after I was married. Take care of yourself and your family.

This week may not be good for me either. I started feeling bad last night and woke up this morning with a sore throat, burning sinuses and a headache. I don't want to spread anything.

Thank you Kelly. I am hoping big time. Maybe I will get some confidence on the way out there! Alysia, you can take echencia, spelling, and golden seal while nursing. I got some at down to earth when I got sick awhile ago. You can also take zicam, though I don't like zinc that much. I am also a big believer in the powers of cranberry juice, but I think that is just me. I hope you feel better soon!!

Just beware of the goldenseal...it will dry up your milk like there's no tomorrow, lol. (Ask me how I know that one) But it does work.

I've been taking an immune support supplement that my naturopathic doc gave me. It doesn't have any goldenseal in it.
