During the day I am fine and still in my regular clothes fine but at night (after dinner) I get SO bloated.

This pregnancy is already so different from my first. It sort of has be worried that something is wrong because I just dont feel pregnant at all - though I know each pregnancy is different.

My boobs are not bigger at all and not sore at all both of which were happening way before this point last time. I have no idea if that has anything to do with nursing/weaning or not.

Sorry to get off topic here - I got my mat clothes out this weekend and washed a bunch to get them ready - they look SO big still, I dont think I will need them for a while. Then again I will only be 6 weeks on Wed.

Morgan, I'm four weeks today, and my comfy sweats aren't so comfy :LOL

I'm sure everything is fine. Enjoy feeling normal while it lasts. ;)

Oh ya, I just unbuttoned my pants a few minutes ago. I cant believe how uncomfotable I was.
I was big with my first, but this is silly, this baby is only appoximately 5wks and 5days.

I'm almost out of my regular cloths - but things were getting tight before I got pg:) I didn't gain any weight while nursing and after weaning ds in July I've gained a few pounds and none of my winter pants fit.

Same for me- I don't really 'feel' anything yet and am definitely no bigger- I am wearing my tighter clothes now since it will probably be the last time in a while!

I was going over my preg. journal from last time trying to figure out when my clothes started getting tighter and beleive it or not I never mentioned it. I too hope everything is ok- the only symptoms I have are sore breasts but last time they got big before I even knew I was pg.

I was really expecting that the 2nd time I would start showing and my clothes wouldn't fit much, much sooner- that's what I have heard! I think I am almost 7 weeks now?? And nothing??

I will prob. have to get new mat. clothes since this baby is at a totally different time of year (Ethan was born in Dec.) Except last time I barely needed them except right at the end!

Exactly, me too. I keep pushing on my boobs to see if they are sore yet! No nausea yet, and I can't remember when it started last time. But last time, I starting having severe abdominal pain around 5-6 weeks (like contractions), that could double me over. They were especially bad if I exerted myself at all -- I mean, I even had to walk at a snail's pace! They lasted for a couple of months at least. I think everyone was thinking I was going to lose the baby, except me. I never thought that. In retrospect, I can't believe I never thought that! Anyway, I'm hoping to avoid that weird one this time! But a little tiny bit of nausea just to let me know things are going as they should would actually be nice right about now!!! BTW, I'm about 5.5 weeks.

I keep waiting too. I did have nausea last week, but yesterday I felt perfectly fine. My boobs are a tiny bit sore - but I remember being in PAIN last time. I was really wishing I had written things down last time. I'm trying not to be too worried about no symptoms. I think I'm just remembering later in my pregnancy from last time. I mean I'm only 4.5 weeks :eyesroll

I hear you on the jeans issue! I keep arguing with my stomach that I'm only 6 weeks! That's too early to do the rubber band trick! (Loop it around the button so that there is a little stretch at the top.) Last week they werre just fine, but after this weekend they aren't feeling so good after awhile.

I had horrible breast tenderness with #1. I remember only being able to shower with my back towards the water for a couple of weeks. Never happend with #2 so I don't expect it with #3. I credit it to the fact that the boobs stretched with the bf'ng so they had room to grow without pain during pregnancy.

ok, I'm so newly pregnant that my period isn't even due until Thursday but I already feel bigger around my waist. It must be bloating :eyesroll

And here I wanted to start taking pics of my growing belly with the first one being a nice flat tummy. ha!

LOL- I know, I keep thinking, aren't I even a little bit nauseous? Or fatter? Are my boobs bigger? I never really had any nausea last time, but at the beginning, I could only eat certain things I was in the mood for.

Dancingmama- scary about the abdominal pain last time- but glad everything was ok and you were confident!

I want to write everything down so I remember it, but it has been a lot different this time, taking care of a toddler! I haven't gotten to write anything yet! Gotta do that!

This is my first, so I have nothing to compare it all too. But I have NO symptoms, or at least not MUCH. I'm not nauseous, my boobs are only minimally tender. Just my suddenly expanded uterus and the fact that I need to pee every single time a drop of water touches my lips :LOL

I'm so glad that some of you are going through the same things. (Or NOT, as the case may be :LOL)

I'll be glad when SOME type of symptoms start presenting themselves.

My pants are definitely tighter... esp sitting down in the car. I'm 6-7 weeks now. Yikes! That's like 34+ to go!! I wish I had maternity pants that fit, but I don't . I plan on making some, though. Better get on that sooner than planned.

On the symptoms, my breasts/nipples are sore. ANd once in a while I get a tiny bit nauseous. But that feels like my imagination, and it's only when i am very hungry. I am weepy, though. And I'm getting cramps once in a while... the ones I remember from last time.

I caved and bought some maternity pants last night. Two pairs, stretchy gray ones and nice office-y black ones. I am so much more comfortable!!! And yes, I do have some room to grow in these. Not much, but some.

I popped a button on my jeans today! Why would I ever have worn button-fly jeans? I pulled out my maternity clothes, but they still seem way to big. I only really have the tent-like things for later on. Thankfully my office is casual, so I can go get some coordinated sweats and try to still look cute :)

my jeans don't fit. i wore some yesterday anyways, and i got ll crampy, so i'm not doing that again. i have a pair of stretchy cordurouy that fit great, but that and pajama pants is all there is.

How I wish I had taken a picture a couple weeks ago! I too have a belly now, where I didn't before. What's up with that? I am only at seven weeks and know for sure I didn't start showing until much later the first time around (I guess that's how it goes)...

My vanity is a little hurt though. I lost twenty pounds in the last several months since we went on the caveman diet to help with ds's allergies -- it is discouraging to be going the other way already :irked: I not only look bigger but have gained a couple pounds -- how many pounds are you supposed to gain in the first trimester? Like, none?

Well, today I bought some maternity pants. I am so bloated that my jeans won't button unless I do the lay on my back an suck in my breath. And I feel a little weird doing that now. LOL They are so comfy! Granted they won't last me more than a few months, but it's so worth it!

I just look super bloated- like my period is due anyday. I usually get really bloated- very noticeable right before AF visits.
I was in a size 18W last winter and since I've started exercising, I'd ALMOST gotten into a size 14- was sticking with 16 because they fit nice. My one pair of 16 jeans are starting to get a little bit tight.
Luckily I should be able to wear all my 18 size clothes. My maternity clothes from last time are absolutely HUGE- I should be able to wear the shirts, but I think the pants will be too big. Bummer because I had 2 really cool pair of maternity jeans.
I will have to break down and buy some new maternity bras though. I've re-worn the same 4 (plus a couple extra bras) for the last 3 and a half years- they've got holes in them
They are SO comfy though. DS breastfed for a little over 3 years, but I just can't seem to stop wearing them- they look like moths have been eating at them!

Well, my jeans don't button, so I went out and bought 2 stretchy tees and 2 pr of yoga pants to go with the other stretchy stuff I own.

I'm 7w4d and having twins, so I'm expecting to pop out pretty soon. Not to mention this is my 6th pregnancy.......

I'm about ten and a half weeks along and two or three weeks ago my old pants became unwearable.. I've found some great sweatpants at Target that have no waistband whatsoever, just a drawstring... Sooooo comfy. I bought two pairs and I wear them all the time:)

Since it IS the beginning of cold weather and I haven't worn my jeans for almost a year I'm having a hard time deciding wether or not they don't fit because..
a) I'm bigger than I was last year (baby or no baby in the oven)
b) The jeans are kind of shrunken.. I notice this about clothes, if you don't wear them for a while, especially denim, they do shrink a bit. Or am I hallucinating?
c) maybe I do have a belly?
I'm a little more than 7 weeks. I think I am basically thicker. I used to be somewhat narrow if I looked at myself from the side, now I'm kind of. Thick. Blah.
I had to unbutton my pants while we were out eating last weekend and I had to wrap my jacket around myself so no one saw my undies lol!
I think I'll start taking pictures this weekend although I do wish I had been doing it from the get go.
I notice that I *think* I am popping out a little if I look at stomach from above (like looking down on it). Other than that I haven't even really had that little ball pop up in the morning if I haven't gone to the bathroom yet. That makes me nervous because I think I should be growing and that's one of the ways I can guage it since I got the uterus ball going on in each of my early pregnancies. I probably shouldn't worry.
But yeah, I'm worried about what I'm going to wear shortly. I'm going to have to buy some sweats for sure that are "nice" (maybe those Target ones!!), and for when I work I may have to buy some maternity pants, but they'll be too big!
This is really an awkward time especially being that the seasons just changed.
TTFN!
Karen

I lost about twenty pounds over the spring and summer and had the delightful experience of going from "big jeans" to tighter jeans, to buying a new pair of jeans a size smaller -- when I got pregnant. Now there are just one pair of jeans that feel good. All of my maternity clothes are still packed away at my mom's house -- never thought I'd need them this early! (I am eight weeks along.)

BTW, I like the theory that things shrink when they are in storage -- works for me!
