Just wondering if anyone else is? I definitly am -- I have to know! I am way to organized and impatient not to find out ASAP!
I had that *feeling* Maxi was a boy and was still so surprised to find out that he was at our 20 week U/S.
This time I have already had two dreams about baby girls and DH is convinced that its a girl. But I am sort of thinking boy again.
Last time I did the Draino test -- totally scientific ;) which said boy as well, as did the Chinese chart thingy.
The Chinese chart says girl this time and I am definitly going to do the Draino test again - probably this weekend.
I just cant wait to find out what it is!

I will find out. I need to know too:) I was always the kid who knew all my Christmas presents before Christmas day. I really don't care either way. But, I'd love Jack to have a little brother. My younger brothers have always been best friends and always stood up for one another. But, if it's a girl I want to get girly things that I've been drooling over. Little pink soakers, girly diaper prints...

Nope! We love surprises! We have never wanted to find out the sex- I just wanted to cherish hearing that announcement of "It's a boy/girl!" for the first time! With my son, our plan was for my dh to announce the sex, and he did, but I have no memory of it! All I remember is the mw saying, "yep, it's a him".
I wanted a girl so bad last time, but ended up thrilled to have a boy! This time, I want another boy so I'll have 2 brothers, but I have a strong feeling that it's a girl! I guess we'll find out in another 8 mos. or so!

We'll find out if we can. Even if I could wait, hubby would go nuts not knowing.
I had a dream last night that I was in a hotel room or something, and was in labor. I got in the bathtub, sitting upright. :LOL ANd the baby was born underwater SHE was only under for a few seconds when I knew she was ready to come out b/c she looked at me and blew raspberries. Then, later, I was changing a diaper and there was a penis. Hubby has had a girl dream, too. I was so sure at first (when I woke up) that it meant i was having a girl, then later decided it wasn't true since the dream was so ridiculous.

Nope. Surprise at birth is the way to go for us. Nothing can quite match hearing my dh whisper to me through tears -It's a BOY or It's a GIRL- after a long labor and hard pushing. I cherish those memories and can't wait to experience it again! :love

My feelings exactly :) That will be one of my favorite parts! And also it's fun to keep guessing and making predictions up till the end and see how close we get!

No way. There are few surprises in life. For me, it makes that last push possible as I just want to know if this new baby is a boy or a girl.
It's fun for my entire family to speculate and make their guesses. I wouldn't want to ruin the fun of predicting.
That being said, I think it is a girl. I have sinced I poas. The chinese birth chart backs me up on it and it's been right on the other 2.

No, DH and I really want to be surprised. Plus it's going to drive my ILs crazy over the next 8.5 months not to know the sex or any of the names we're considering!

I always said I wanted to know, and gave my best friend andmy sister in law tremendous amounts of grief when they told me they were not finding out. It makes shopping so much easier! :LOL
But, Paul's not sure if he wants to know or not, so I think I"ll leave it up to him. I'm okay one way or the other. I just want a baby. :D

I doubt we'll find out. We kept it a suprise with our first baby, and I think one of my husbands favorite parts of the whole birth experience was being able to be the one to announce "It's a girl!" to everyone in the delivery room. Of course, he knew all along that it was a girl. ;) I don't know how, he just knew.
I'm tempted to find out this time, because I feel like I have to psych myself up for whichever sex the baby is. I'd really like to have a boy, as this will be our last child and I want one of each. But I don't want to have any feelings of disappointment at the birth. So if I found out early that I was having a girl, I could at least convince myself that two girls would be the best combination for our family (at least until they hit puberty :eyesroll ).
We probably won't find out, though. Not only is my husband dead-set against it, but they told me at my u/s with my daughter that they don't even check the bits. So we probably couldn't find out even if we wanted to. :)

we might not have a later ultrasound, but if for some reason we end up having one for some other medical reason, we will definately find out.

Well, we are having a homebirth again. So, barring any medical complications that arise, we won't be having an ultrasound, so that pretty much answers that! We didn't know with #1 and I loved it that way. I'm actually more curious this time, but still want to be surprised!

Yeah- totally! Everyone was going crazy not knowing if we were going to have a boy or girl, and we didn't share any of our name choices with anyone- we just like to have some things as our own little private secret. Everyone was constantly bugging us about it and suggesting names. I guess it'll be the same thing this time!

We have always found out what we were having, but after 2 girls and a boy, I woudl like to be surprised. I am a huge planner and it will probbaly drive me crazy, but as this will probably be our last baby, I think I would like to do it differently. Hope I can stick to it!

No. But I'd really like to have a girl. Of course, two boys would be great, too. But, then who will be interested in my complete set of Little House books from my own childhood?

No we won't find out. My sister and I were both expecting together on my last preg. and we delivered 10 hours apart and we both did not know. It was the BEST!!! Our families love to guess and I love to have my husband yell it out. My sister in law is the first to find out, she is having a girl next month, as a family the excitment is not all that high since the biggest surprise is already gone.

We found out with our first two, but I really want to be surprised with this one, dh wants to know, but he'll just have to wait!

Barring any complications, we will not be having any u/s. So nope, it's going to be a wonderful surprise! I remember when I was in labor with dd, towards the end, that thought of finally knowing if i had a son or daughter really helped me keep my cool, kwim?
It's funny, because in general surprises make me ansy. I'm a planner. But with this, it just feels different.

My ob does a routine ultrasound at 18 weeks. If we can find out then, we will.

I want to know. It would just drive me insane to not know. So far me, DF, and my best friend all say boy. I can't wait to hear everyone else's predictions, but no one else knows!

We are going to try not to find out. We want 2 children so most of the items we purchase for this child will probably be gender neutral anyway (so they will also work for the 2nd no matter what gender it is). Also, I think it would be totally awesome to find out at the time of the birth - what a wonderful way for dh to participate. That being said, I HATE suprises. I am a total type A personality and I love being in control. I think it will be hard to try to restrain myself from finding out but I am going to try.
