Due date question

Ok, I'm TOTALLY confused. If I literally look at the calendar and count 38 weeks from my estimated ovulation/conception, I come up with an EDD of 7/9. However, if I use one of those online calculators, I get an EDD of 6/16. What am I doing wrong? And the online calculator says if I had my period on Sept. 2, I probably o'd around Sept. 23rd. So how the hell could I have gotten pregnant, considering I was sick as a dog and we only GIO the 14th-18th.

You would think I would already know this, considering it's my second go 'round. . .

So the question is, WHEN is this baby most likely to arrive? Mid-June or early July??

Ok, so iVillage says June 16. Baby Center says June 9. According to my calendar, 38 weeks from Sept. 16 is July 9.

I O'ed on Sept 14th, and my EDD is 6/7/05. Are you skipping a month when you're counting weeks on your calendar? If your O-date is Sept 16th, then your EDD should be 6/9/05. Sorry everything is so confusing. Last week, I was having major trouble figuring out how many weeks I am.

I already have it in spades. I think I'm either skipping a month, or ( :shake) totally not catching "JUN" as opposed to "JUL". Duh.

As for how you got pregnant -- sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days (some say 8 days) so if you GIO on the 18th and Oed on the 23rd that is 5 days so its totally possible (obviously ;) ).
