Ooooh, I really want to come, but I don't think it will be possible. We will have just arrived in France from the US on the 17th. Not sure if the kids and I will be up for another long trip. I'd love to see all of you again though.

oh maaaan (as Elsa would say)

I’m still up in the air on the dates. Does anyone have an opinion?

Hey, Plaid Leopard ~ I’ll be in the US in November (Baltimore and NYC) You won’t be around those parts, will you?

Hi PL :hola: How's Texas??
My dd's both say 'Oh maaaaann', actually I'm quite tired of hearing it.

I don't have an opinion on dates, we don't really care, but need to know early so John can make sure he's not working.

I'd love to see y'all again!!

Okay...we're still on. I'm here to say that I'm going back to the States for three weeks and don't usually check the computer while I'm there.

So, I'll check in again when I get back on the 6th. Looking forward to seeing you all.

Wow. Have a great trip, and we'll "see" you when you get back!

So, I'm back...what a long and crazy trip, <sigh>.

Anyhoo, who's in? Ulrike, yes...I know Behr is planning and it looks like she'll be in charge of entertainment and cultural unity. Hopefully, Mr. Behr will head up the photo department. I've got the decorations down ~ or up, I should say.

I have some family and other friends in town for the holidays who will be joining us ~ should be fun.

So, Sunday early afternoon (12-6) for soup, cake, coffee and sparkling. Doener for dinner if we feel like carrying on.

Maybe a little gift exchange for the littlies.

I know this is a long way for most of you to come for an afternoon but it would really nice to get together again.

PL, it's only 6 hours from Paris! Leipzig, Paris...what's the difference?

Simonne, that baby must be here by now...lol!

Elphaba...yea?!?

Holly?

Baby Hopes, we sure would love to meet you.

Where's Olivia these days?

Yes, the three of us shall be there! I've been looking forward to it.

What shall I bring?

Hope your trip went well, and you had a nice birthday! :love

The three of us are planning to come. We've also got some friends in Heidelberg (mom, pop, two little boys) who would also like to join in the fun.

What should we bring in terms of a wee gift for the little ones? Aside from some holiday goodies...

Sounds good, Holly.

I don't know about gifts...maybe Behr could help or we could each bring a small gift, put them in a basket and let them pick something before they go home. I don't know. Ideas?

Food would be nice if you could all bring something. I have family in town and don't want to do a lot of work in the kitchen while they're here. I'll make a soup, and get some bread, cheese and a cake. We can go for Doener later if there isn't enough.

Does anyone still have the directions in their PM box?

Hello? Is it going to be ICM, behr, Holly and me? No one else? Simone you better get your butt on a train! Shoshie wants to see 'big Audrey' again so badly! :D (she's big Audrey because there is a toddler across the hall named Audrey)

I am bringing a healthy snack/side dish and a rich and fattening dessert. Not that I can eat it, but I love to bake and I love to see other people eat the food I made. :love

I just finished the brownies! Filled with cream cheese and chocolate chips. I modeled them after these brownies I used to eat when I worked in Dallas. I hope no one is lactose intolerant!

The brownies sound good. I hope dh is up to rolling me home! I'm bringing pumpkin cake (no sugar - sweetened with honey only) and carob/oat cupcakes (sweetened with molasses and honey). Our friends from Heidelberg probably won't be coming, so it'll be just be dh, dd and I.
It's supposed to snow tomorrow...but we've got winter tires.

See you tomorrow!
Holly

I love your pictures, Elphaba, thanks so much for sharing.
And you do look grrrreat!!!
I could kick myself for not having had one of those brownies, they sound awesome.

Hopefully Rhea didn't share her bug with anyone attending. She's feeling better but still not 100%.

And thanks to family ICM!! What gracious hosts in their most beautiful home, a true work of art.
It was nice to have met y'all again!
Though it was sad to leave so early we probably were lucky to have hit the road at that time. We drove into some pretty bad weather. It actually got a bit scary after sunset, and we were glad to have done most of the drive in daylight.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday and a year 2005 of your dreams!

Hello!! Thanks, everyone. We also had a great time and it really was so nice to see you again. Toni, by the way is a member as well 'Tonlo'.

We have SO much food left over as well as some kids pajamas but, sadly, no Sheva. She really could have stayed. I'm going to make a village with all those candy houses, Behr...thank you for bringing them.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday. Holly, a safe drive to France, Elphaba a wonderful time in London (many great shows) and Behr ~ I'm completely serious about you coming back for Christmas. I know we were joking around about it but I would love it if you decided to come!

Everyone who couldn't make it were in our thoughts and I wish you a wonderful holiday as well.

ICM,

THANK YOU for hostessing the gathering on Sunday. The three of us had a great time (and we're sorry we had to miss out on the lasagne).
We're now on vacation! Yippee! Now we get to go Christmas shopping in the crowds...at least we've got a babysitter service (Oma has kindly volunteered to come with us and entertain Catarina while we shop).

Have a GREAT Christmas and New Year!

-Holly

Hi, everybody...

I'm making our family holiday cards and I may include a few pictures from the party. Like a collage type thing. I'd like to send you all a copy. If you like, send me your address via PM and I'll send them out next month.

I'd also like to add your pics to our web site soon. Send me what you've got and I'll post a link when I have it up. (on and tell me if you don't want to be put up there, okay?)

I hope you all had a nice holiday and New Year!
