Rainbow Light's Once Daily here too! :thumb
They have GREAT prices on them at iherb.com, too. Great customer service - ordered on Monday, they arrived on Thursday, and that was from CA to NY!

i switch between the rainbow light 6?/day and new chapter's prenatal 4/day. i like the ones that have a # of tablets per dose b/c it allows me more flexibility to take what feels right, rather than a full dose of one kind everytime. i eat differently everyday and feel like my supplement needs are different daily. i don't like taking more than i need.

For most of my pregnancy I took TwinLab prenatals but the store ran out of them so now I'm taking Rainbow Light one a days.

Not really. I took a Folic Acid supplement through 15 weeks since TTC and I take a Whole Foods one-a-day every couple of days for "insurance". I also take Vitamin C (1000mg) every couple of days. I get plenty of vitamins and minerals in the foods I eat and have read enough about how poorly supplements are absorbed to make me think more manufactured vitamins wouldn't add a whole lot.

I don't take any. They make me so sick that I just watch what I eat and my ob checks my iron levels as I run the risk of anemia. If the levels drop I take an iron supplement :eyesroll

I take Shaklee VitaLea (reg multi) and b-complex every day. And fish oil. If my diet has been deficient in dairy, I will take a calcium supplement too.

I switched from Rainbow Light to New Chapter in my 6th month based on a personal recommendation... they are hellishly expensive and you have to take 4 a day BUT they help me feel great and the smell doesn't nauseate me like RL did. And they don't have dies that turn my pee a funny colour--I was never too comfortable with that.
Terrifically hard to come by in Canada, BTW.

:bag: I don't take any. I couldn't bring myself to taking the 8/day (yikes!) brand recommended by my ND...supplements don't sit well with me, and it stressed me out each time I looked at those horse pills, so I decided it wasn't worth it. The thing with those 6-8/day kind is that they have SO much in them that each individual component is in a small dosage per pill, so you are required to take the 6-8 to derive the min amounts recomended...I did consider taking only one/day, but somehow didn't feel right about that either. I have a hard time accepting that such a processed thing, so far removed from its natural food source, is beneficial. For me. :)

I do eat well, and take a Genestra sublingual folic acid + B12 (the only B-vit that doesn't churn in my tummy), and cod liver oil daily. I take coconut oil when I remember, and try to eat wheat germ regularly (lots'o' vit e, plus folic acid, efas, etc.).

I do take a once daily prenatal called prenate elite. In my previous pg I just took a generic. I wanted to be sure I had the folic acid and my diet isn't perfect so I felt I should supplement.

Hi, in my country (Spain) all doctors recommend folic acid BEFORE getting pregnant and then during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Here it costs 3 euros (like 3 $) for 28 pills, and you have to take 1 pill a day.
