Oh... I'm so sorry. I read your update on the other page though and the treatment sounds promising.
Was there anything your doctor could tell you that was reassuring, or anything besides what the u/s said? It sounds like you're very frightened and I'm not sure if anyone has explained this to you.
Has anyone told you why you had a positive hpt? Is this some sort of ectopic?
Please don't answer the questions if you don't feel like it.. I'd love for you to just get to the bottom of it and move on ;)
Take care momma,
Karen

My Dr hasnt said much more. She is leaving everything up to the OB to explain to me hopefully on Momday when I call. She pretty much told me that it wasnt a fibroid, that it looks like it may be a teratoma, or what they call a germ cell tumor. These types can produce HCG (although it is not a baby or pacenta) and have even been found to have hair and teeth and stuff growing in them once removed and opened up...... :dropjaw

I am very frightened, but the more I am reading on it the more I am understanding.

Here are some links to kinda explain, these are pretty much what my Dr discribed to me. There are even pictures with some of the sites.

Cystic Teratoma (http://www.emedicine.com/med/topic2248.htm)

On the above one if you scroll down to Lab Studies it mentions the HCG (preg hormone)

Germ Cell Tumor (http://www.acor.org/ped-onc/diseases/germcell.html)

Ovarian Cysts (http://www.medic8.com/healthguide/articles/ovariancysts.html)

I was also told this could be the reason I am haveing so many problems with my bladder and kidneys, but I dont know.

I've definitely heard of teratomas. Wow! From what I know it seems like more than likely everything will be alright. Some people have them growing inside of them for a lifetime before they have them removed so I suppose this is a good thing.
I wish your doctor had gotten their butts on the phone with your ob immediately and had you go straight over there rather than stew in this for more than you had to. It seems pretty cruel to leave someone with that information and then have to wait. What would you do if you didn't have the internet ya know?
Let us know what the ob says...
Take care,
Karen
