Is this normal???

Hi all! How is everyone today?

So, like I said in my previous thread, this is my first pregnancy. I don't know what is normal. I've been having cramps for about a week now. They feel like menstrual cramps. I'm so freaked out about this. I feel like I'm going to get my period at any moment. I haven't had any other symptom. I was gassy for a few days, but that seems to have gone away. Now I just feel these cramps. Today they seem a bit worse. They aren't terribly strong, I just feel them more than I have the past few days. I ovulated on Oct 12th, so I'm about 3 weeks into this. What should I be expecting right now? Thanks!!!

My first pgcy I was fairly crampy first trimester. Not constantly, just on and off. Nothing severe. I have had occasional cramping every so often this time around as well... I think it is fairly common and is your uterus responding to increased blood flow in the area, stretching (yes even at 5 weeks pg like you your uterus is already bigger than it was pre-pregnancy!), etc...

I remember feeling for *months* like I was about to get AF. It seems that there are any number of varying symptoms than constitute normal. For someone like me who's a control freak, it's frustrating not to have a list of "this is ok" and "this is not"

I had AF-type cramps with both my first pregnancy and this one, too. I have been through this before and it still freaks me out! There's no shortage of things to worry about, huh?
