grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I am STARVING. So hungry that my stomach HURTS. But I have to FORCE MYSELF to eat!
Stupidest thing I've ever seen :angry
I wish my digestive system would go back to normal.

:( I know how you feel. I haven't thrown up yet, but the nausea is constantly there in the background. Especially when my body decides I'm hungry- I get these awful pukey cramps yet when I do eat something, I feel sick to my stomach. Plus nothing really tastes good right now.
No real cravings. No real food aversions. It's just that nothing really sounds or looks appetizing.
Hang in there- it will get better after the first trimester (hopefully). :hug

I went through the same thing -- no vomiting but I had such conflicting feelings of nausea and extreme hunger at the same time.
I found five things that worked for me:
1. homemade fruit smoothies -- put a banana, apple, berries, and OJ into a blender and blend! I didn't, but you can add any wheatgerm or other additional nutrients as you wish
2. bread with cheese
3. pasta
4. pasta
5. pasta
Just take vitamin supplements during this hopefully-very-short period to make sure you get enough nutrients.

I'm right there with you, Mamas.
I'm having a Hate/Hate relationship with food right now. I hate it and I hate it. Yet, I must eat. Nothing ever sounds good. I feel nauseous when I eat and I feel worse nausea when I don't.
Ugh!!
The past few days it has really gotten worse. I just keep saying 4 more weeks, 4 more weeks....(keeping fingers crossed that it ends around week 12 like it did the last two times).
anatoliy24, I love the fruit smoothie idea. I had a Jamba Juice today that went down really well. I'll have to get the ingredients for my own to make. Thanks.

mmm Jamba Juice. When I visited a girlfriend in Cali, we had one for breakfast every day. Loved it. And, damn, that DOES sound good. Unfortunately, the nearest one to me is about an hour and a half away. Don't think I'll be getting one any time soon. :LOL
I'm feeling a little better today. I think I'm gonna bring a sleeping bag and pillow to my office with me (I'm the only one here during the day), and take little cat naps through out the day, because I find that I feel so much better if I can lay down regularly.
Yeah, I hate food. grrrrr :LOL

i've mixed frozen fruit (berries, peaches, whatever) yogurt, juice, and as much ice as i need to make a smoothie very similar to jamba juice.
of course, now i want a jamba juice.....

I feel the same way :irked: Starving and nauseous, but everything looks soooooo icky. I am eating a lot of instant soup, cheese sandwiches, pasta, cereal and PB&Jelly. It wasn't this bad with #1.

I think I've turned the corner at almost 10 weeks. Prior to that it was a lot of egg noodles, cereal, PB toast. (OK and ice cream with hot fudge all over it.) Bananas and apples settled well too. I found a lot of plain food worked. Just noodles. No sauce or stuff stuffed in them.

I'm not so sick this time around--but last time is vivid in my memory. Frozen cherries were the best thing--they actually tasted good.
As soon as I could I started eating eggs over easy--sorry if that's too gross, but I craved them, and later found out that runny egg yolks are an awesome source of b6, which helps morning sickness. Helped me.
What helped most was eating BEFORE I got hungry (and nauseous), and reading or watching tv while I ate so I didn't think about the food.

Everyone join me for a can of whole cranberry sauce out of the can with a spoon (refrigerated).
It was surprisingly not as sweet as I thought it would be. I'm not so sure it would settle your stomach; my problem is mostly with hunger and not nausea so I probably shouldn't even be poking my nose in here.
My sister was eating a raspberry chocolate chip bagel the other day and that just about turned my stomach into flips. I just can't stand mixing chocolate with any fruit flavors (especially orange--GAG!). Can't tell you why but it might be because of the chocolate covered kosher fruit jell things you get at Passover. Or when you eat a chocolate out of the box and it's a fruit creme!! BARF!!!!

I don't know why, but all I've been craving is meat/protein. I used to be a carb-o-holic and it's been tough trying to wean off of them (since about February). I've been eating a much more balanced diet- was eating salads w/ dinner daily. But for some reason, I'm not really into salad right now either.
Just give me a steak or a burger- I'm mainly craving red meat!

Selissa, :Hug I am right there with you. I could have writtin your post (except for feeling like this until 6 or 7 months--how did you DO that??) I am always sick. Always. There are moments in the day where I can function normally with it but it never goes away. I hate food right now yet I have to eat or it gets really bad. I'm really hating it right now and am about to burst into tears from the misery of it....
It helps tremendously that I have two sweet little ones with me all day because I can look at their beautiful faces and I know that this is all worth it but it's still hard.
Hang in there. We'll get through it together!

All I eat is bread. Sometimes I can cook up some egg. Today I ate Wendy's. :bag: :eyesroll
This baby is screwed.
