I've been making a real concerted effort to eat well -- lots of whole and organic foods, light on the processed stuff, etc.
However I decided that I just cannot give up my Coke -- I am so ashamed! I can't believe I am hopelessly addicted to its blend of caffeine and corn syrup. As I've reported elsewhere, I've developed a taste for fast food, esp. the Spicy Chicken Bowl at Taco Bell :eyesroll
Anyone else? Misery loves company!

Right now, with my m/s at its peak, if it is potato chips or salty soup-in-a-cup I want, I eat it :irked: Even, uhhhh, chocolate. I figure whatever settles my stomache.

Same as Mindy, I eat what I can. I've been craving the nastiest things too, like bologna and hot dogs. Gross!!! But when I eat something that's healthier but doesn't sound good, I usually feel sick for a while afterwards. I am really hoping that in the next couple of weeks my stomach starts to settle and I get some energy.

Hi :) I've been doing fairly well- except for that one aforementioned egg McMuffin snarfing incident I wrote about on another thread, LOL.
Mainly I'm craving pickles, olives, mustard- YUM! I usually like them, but now I LOVE them!!
We stayed the night at a fancy hotel last night- my dh's company paid for it- and we ordered tons of room service and I ATE and ATE and ATE like you wouldn't beleive!!! Then ordered a big breakfast in the morning! I swear, I can't remember the last time I ate so much! I was sooooo good!

NO PICTOCIN!!! That stuff is evil. Oh, it worked, it sped things up alright. But the contractions were so painful, I asked for drugs, and they gave me Stadol. That had me out beyond belief, and when I came to, I felt the urge to push but was too groggy or drugged to articulate my feelings out loud. I just kept grabbing the nurse's arm. By the time I could talk right and ask for an Epi, it was too late and I went w/o.
So this time....I hope....no pictocin, no drugs, walk more, and yes, I want an Epidura; :)

We had Chinese take-out tonight, which I normally detest. I was reading a book that mentioned hot-and-sour soup before I took a nap today and it totally took hold of my subconscious. My brother and his family came over for dinner and I totally pigged out on hot-and-sour soup (natch!), wonton soup, beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, white rice, AND fried rice. It was so delicious -- I could eat some more right now. It is a little weird.
Really strong tastes appeal to me too -- I ate a whole bowl full of olives last night. And digging into ds's Halloween candy I discovered that Skittles' tangy flavor is just the ticket :)

I'm feeling really guilty, because we've basically cut out fast food (the last 8 months or so) and have been eating much healthier.
I've just been SO hungry and when I get hungry, I have to eat right that minute!
I got 2 bacon & egg crossanwiches at Burger King friday morning. We at Burger King for dinner Saturday night. And then this morning on the way in to work I stopped at McDonald's and got pancakes and a hashbrown. I was already feeling guilty before I pulled into the parking lot!

I've actually been pretty good. I've gotten a strong aversion to caffinated drinks, and can't handle the smell of coffee. So unlike last time, I haven't had caffine at all. :) I have decaf tea a couple of times a day, and have water the rest of the time.
I just stocked up on fruit, so we'll see if I can handle that as snacks. I ate almost an entire cheesecake on the weekend (cheese is good for you, right? :innocent), and am addicted to mints for some reason, lol. Other than that, I'm doing pretty good at staying away from junk so far. The thought of greasy fast food makes my stomache turn lately. Last time, I was totally addicted to big macs and mcdonald's french fries. Hmm, that's probably the reason I gained 80lbs, lol.
