It seems like almost EVERY pregnant woman has morning sickness. Not that I want to be sick, but should I be worried if I don't have it? Does that mean there is a bigger chance for something to go wrong? Sorry if this sounds naive, but it is my first pregnancy and I'm just a nervous nelly about everything.

We are still sort of early in the game so if you haven't had the pleasure of m/s, take heart. . .it could be on it's way soon, lol! Keep in mind that m/s feels very different to different people. I can even tell a difference between this pg and my last one where I felt sea sick for several weeks but never actually threw up. Now I have horrible indigestion, but thankfully I haven't felt too much of the dizziness, just an occasional swoon. Also, if you are pretty busy during the day, you might be distracted enough to miss some of these lovely symptoms. Yes, there are the barfers among us (God love 'em, we're praying for you girls!), but I know lots of people who have little to no m/s and do just fine :)

I didn't have any m/s with my first pregnancy. Remember, everyone is different!

I would be thrilled to have no morning sickness. Ohhhh pure bliss. Hopefully you'll have some of the more pleasant symptoms as I don't wish m/s on anyone! LOL
And no, you should not worry. :hug

Well, I am 7w tomorrow and after a week of nausea, just started throwing up today (up to number three and it is only noon). There is plenty of time to get sick, but hopefully, you won't! It really sucks.

I had no m/s with my first at all, and only very minor queasiness with this one. Be grateful!

I didn't have any with my first two pregnancies. This time I think I have a little.

I'm about 5w2d and I have not been feeling m/s either. I did with my first two pregnancies, but I can't quite remember when it started. Last week I did ask my friend who is a CPM to check my HCG levels cause I was nervous and they have come back fine. I'm sure we are both fine and the "fun" stuff will likely hit soon to some degree or another. Congrats on your pregnancy!

MS usually sets in around 6 weeks or so. I wasn't sick at all with my first(unless you count the head cold I had LOL) But with my second(a dd) I was nauseous all day long....and again with this one at almost 7 weeks...so I"m thinking another girl :LOL

I had really bad ms with my daughter, but this time around I'm just nauseaous, but don't throw up. Everyone and all pregnancies are different.

With Maxi I felt fine until 7 weeks when I suddenly had HORRIBLE m/s 24/7 for 6 weeks. I never actually threw up but was always on the verge.
This time I took a HPT because I had been nausious for 4 or 5 days and it *feels* like m/s. I dont know how far along I am (I think just over 5 weeks) due to a m/c 4 weeks ago but this time the feeling is not as bad (so far) just queasy off and on but I can deal with it fine. I am sort of enjoying it because its reassuring - when it goes away I worry. Not sure how bad it will get if things continue to go well but I figure its worth it.
Everyone is different. I didn't have any m/s with my 1st and was going to say I have had none with this one either, except when I read one of the previous posts I realized that maybe that's what this dizzyness is. I get light headed a lot lately. As far as barfing, I don't. In fact my appetite has increased quite a bit.

I just wanted to agree with everyone else-- everyone is different. I haven't had morning sickness yet, but I'm just 5 weeks. I'm hoping to get away without it this time. :fingersx: My first pregnancy I had m/s until week 20 and then some (m/s wasn't as bad later, but I had a constant feeling of "not rightness"). My second pregnancy I also had m/s from about 5 weeks until I miscarried, and for a few days after.

I was horribly sick with both my pregnancies until 20 weeks! It was awful! In the first pregnancy, I didn't start m/s until I was 9 weeks along. Fine and busy until then. And then WHAM! With my second, I was 6 weeks along - by 9 weeks I was in and out of the hospital for hydration. This time, I'm 5 weeks along and feeling slightly queasy around chicken but that's it. I'm assuming I'll be horribly sick within a few weeks.
