He was so annoying, and he couldn't understand why I wouldn't believe someone who does not want to read any books about pregnancy, learn what is going on inside my body, or what changes need to occur during pregnancy and used his "logic" to present a "logical" arguement against what I am doing.

I'm still annoyed with him this morning.

As far as you being so mad at him--I know it can be annoying when our husbands worry about us when we are pregnant and try to micromanage us. But maybe his is just really concerned and looking for you to just say something reassuring like "I won't drink that much water if I feel like it is waterlogging me--it is just a guideline of what I am trying to drink". To me the alternative of him not caring whether you drink so much you cause yourself harm is much worse.

my husband is driving me nuts sometimes too. he still doesn't want me to do anything. oh, but the biggest bugger is the caffiene drinks thing. i was out late the other night and i stopped and got a hot cocoa. when i got home he (predictably) started like getting onto me about caffiene. i was so annoyed! like i need him watching what i drink? he finally gave me a chance to say it was just hot cocoa and not coffee, and he was like well, good. i told him if fo some reason i had gotten coffee he should trust that i know the risks and made the decision anyways. oh, also, i made some beer cheese soup and he was very alarmed. it took me awhile to make him realize that most the alcohol would be cooked off, not to mention it was 1 beer to 12 servings of soup! even if i ate the soup without cooking it i would only have gotten an ounce!

sucks about the water thing. are you just thirsty for that much, or are you making yourself drink that much? i've been going by the guidelines of always having cool water available (like to remind me to drink) and drinking whenever i feel like it. of course, if i made myself drink at this point it would end up on my shoes.
