Do they work for "morning sickness"? Where can you get them?
TIA ~
Feeling mighty yucky lately.

We got some from a baby boutique by us, but I'm sure you can easily find them online. I've yet to try them, though they sound yummy. I hope you are feeling better soon.

I think they're yummy but I don't think I used them when I was nauseated. You can buy them onlin www.preggiepops.com

The Ginger one worked for me, the lemon one was really sour and coated my mouth. I haven't used any of the others yet.
I get them at a boutique in Encino, CA. If you're anywhere near, let me know and I'll direct you.
If my MS gets bad (I was horribly nauseated 24/7 for 6 months with DS), I'm also going to try Baby Bliss's morning sickness medicine. They make Gripewater, so I trust them!

hi! I just wanted to tell you if you can't find preggo pops that jolly rancher lollipops (or just the candies) are great for morning sickness! (and not so expensive) I had it horrible with my ds btw, hope you are feeling better soon!

I love my preggo pop drops! I got them at a store called Destination Maternity. I like them because they aren't too sweet, just the right amount of tart. I agree that the ginger ones seem to work best for settling my tummy.

Thanks ladies - I feel a million times worse this week. I am heading to Wild Oats at lunch to get some ginger snaps and B6 and see what else they have.
I had pretty bad m/s (24/7 for 6 weeks) with Maxi. I never actually threw up but felt like I would any min. all day long. Nothing worked last time but I didnt try lots of things I know about now.

Hi MaxsMami,
I totally sympathise. With DS, I was horrifically nauseous, 24/7. I didn't throw up very often, so very little relief, but it was all I could do to hold on. Sadly, it lasted until my 6th MONTH!!!
Here's what I finally did, with my doctor's consent: Vitamin B6 (I think 25 mg) and 1/2 a tab of Unisom (that's right, the sleeping pill) together every day. It didn't stop me from being sick, but it reduced the nausea to a point where I could at least function.
Other things that helped included a daily tea of red raspberry leaf and nettle leaf, with fresh ginger grated into it.
I did not try the wristbands or preggie pops, but will use both this time, if needed. Like I posted before, I'll also try the Baby's Bliss Morning Sickness Magic (http://www.morning-sickness-magic.com/) if I get really sick.
The last thing I did was take a mental assessment every day to see if any particular smells or tastes seemed to be setting me off. Then I would avoid what I could. The thing for me was that I was limited to about 5 things I could eat at any given time. For a while, pasta with red sauce and yogurt were my staples. Then DH opened a jar of pasta sauce one night and the smell sent me straight to the bathroom. :eyesroll
Good luck, honey! The best part is - you KNOW it will end!!

A couple other remedies: B6 3 times a day, and the 1/2 a unisom at night. Also: Boil some gingerroot. This works great for me! And finally, there is an audio tape I've heard great things about: http://www.nausea-relief.com/ I hope you feel better! Hugs:)

Do be sure to check out the proper dosage with a qualified medical practitioner. Too much vitamin B6 can be dangerous to the baby. Not to freak anyone out, you just want to make sure you're taking the right amount and I'm not sure what that is!

Good point - pregnant and lactating women shouldnt take more than 100 mg of B6 a day. My prenatal has 20 mg and I take another B6, B12, folic acid supplement that has 5 mg so that is only 25 mg. I couldnt find pills in less than 100 mg so I cut them in half and take half a day - that gives me 75 mg total.
Its ok to take more - like up to 500 mg (with a drs. direction) if you are not pregnant.

I just started today with the half a pill (just got them yesterday) so it might just not have kicked in yet. The spearmint is helping a lot though.

Just wondering. It seems to be working best for me right now, though I'm clearly not as sick as you are. I know you didn't like the dried ginger, but did you try the ginger honey you mentioned? I was thinking I might get some.
