I am not in Malayasia but used to be in singapore-right next door. There's a rocking LLL group in singapore!! So there must be something in Malaysia. WIll you be in KL?? I have a friend there I can hook you up with if you end up over there.

somehow i did not get the responses to my question in my e-mail. Weird! But I am trying to get to Kuala Lumpur. I have applied to be an English teacher at this place called Erican. But I only know what the web site says. Do either of you know about it? If not, LukesMum do you think your friend could find out about it? That would be great! If your friend knows of anyother job openings PLEASE let me know.
Ilaria, how far is Penang for KL? Do you speak Malay or Chinese? I really want to get over there!! :thumb

I was searching for the same thing, so I know this is a very old thread-- just thought I would see if I could get some updated answers!

My family and will be moving to KL in the next few months and have many questions, especially about midwives and homebirth.

Anyone living there or know someone who is?

I am not in Penang anymore, we have been in the Phils for 2 years now. KL is great though, I am sure you will enjoy it!

ETA: While I was there I did learn some Bahasa and some HOkkien, but just very basic everyday words. :)
