After miscalculating my due date (and introducing myself in the August dd club :blush ), I now realize I belong here. By general calculations (1st day of last period) my due date would be July 29th. By calculating based on ovulation my due date will be July 26th. When the time comes I will let give my midwife the first date to give myself a little cushion in case baby is late.
:wave I am 35 and pregnant with second child. My dd is 2 yrs 8 mos old and is nursing. We conceived on the 6th cycle of ttc. Dd's birth was at home and was spectacular--we hope to do that again.
I have had a very queasy stomach for the last week, going from just evenings to now, all day :crap . I hate this part--COME ON 2ND TRIMESTER!
:champagne Here's to a healthy nine months and beautiful babies.

Due dates are always tough anyway, IMHO.
With my DS, original due date was 11/15. Then it was adjusted because of the u/s. I protested (I KNEW the date of conception), but I was told he was measuring smaller. Well, he was born 11/16, at 8 lb. 3 oz! I'll never believe a due date again! :LOL

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. :D
Yeah, due dates can certainly be a source of aggrevation with the docs/midwvs. Last time (was with OB for first 5 mos of preg), I had calculated my dd for the 13th of the month--which happens to be my favorite number, so I was psyched. When I had the u/s, I saw on the computer that it also calculated the 13th as the date. At my next OB visit my doc said it was the 14th. I argued with her but she wouldn't change it--I think she was superstitous or was concerned I was. :LOL I still told everyone the 13th.
This time I will only tell people, "the end of July".
Nice to see a familiar name, Binah Yeteriah. Hello again! I am so glad to read that your bleeding has stopped and you are doing well--go buy those maternity clothes! :LOL

Hi everyone - I'm due 21 July but that is french dates they do 41 weeks here rather than standard 40 - which is completely different to UK/US dates - all very confusing but then so is the system here! July seems so far away at the moment and I am so excited!! Can't wait to have the big belly and feel the baby move. Mustn't count my chickens though!!
Congratulations everyone.

hi everyone
I am due in late July. The obst says 30th July but on the internet I've seen other varying dates so I'm saying "late July".
I have been lucky enough to only suffer from fatigue so far. I haven't been feeling sick as yet.
I am having my 8 week ultrasound this Thursday *fingers crossed*.
I can't wait to mid-January as that will be my 12 week mark. :banana

Hi everyone! This is my first day on the forum, and my first pregnancy! Still reeling a bit. I calculated July 12 for my due date, my ultrasound said July 10, the nurse said July 17. So..uh..I'm due mid-July. DH and I can hardly believe it! :) A little overwhelmed by this wonderful surprise.
So far everything has been great. Haven't been sick at all, wh., even though I'm not complaining AT ALL, for the first few weeks made me doubt if all those sticks really meant positive. Seeing Elvis (that's what we're calling him until we know...since we only get periodic "sightings") on the ultrasound made it such a profound reality. Weird food preferences, camel-like thirst, sore boobs, and a slight bulge have added to the reality.
