My reminder that I'm still prego, just like last time, is that I'm soooo hungry! Since I always want to eat, I'm wondering what you are making sure is in the kitchen (so far). Anyone got cravings kicking in yet?

My first craving, before we even tested was a DQ Blizzard. I told DH I just had to have one the other night. And, instead of eating 5 bites and having it last a week or so, I ate the whole darn thing (big happy clue about baby!).

Last night, I had to have a bowl of cereal (which I never eat), or I thought I would die. Man that was yummy! Kaschi Go Lean Crunch!

Thankfully, I'm not anti-anything yet. Not nauseaus (sp?); none of that.

I, unfortunately, am craving CHOCOLATE (which I never eat).
And COFFEE (which I know can't be good, either!!!)

As soon as MS kicks in, I won't be able to eat a darn thing (based on last time's), so I guess this won't last long...

Beef, specifically steak. With DD I asked for a hamburger before I knew I was PG with her. I knew something was up becasue I usually can't stand hamburgers! :D

Pizza, pizza and more pizza. The sloppier and greasier the better.

I was dying for some Original Terra Chips last night. I was such a glutton I ate about 3/4 of the bag, and then I had the worst upper GI gas pains, I thought I was gonna keel over. Unfortunately, I had eaten them on the way to a conference, so I had to drive home 40 minutes in unbelievable pain. I just threw all my junk on the table, grabbed some simethicone tabs, and curled up in bed rather early for me. This morning, when I had to put my stuff away including the rest of the bag of Terra Chips, I had to hold my breath for yuck as soon as I smelled them. Guess I won't be having any more of Them anytime soon!

Well, I haven't had any cravings yet, but plenty of aversions. So far I can't eat eggs, cheese, and am not crazy about the milk either. DP thinks this one is a girl...I think it might be too.

Ruffles original and mountain dew. Normally, I can't stand more than a "grab bag" of ruffles every week or so, and I drink Mountain dew only when I need to stay awake for work. The last two weeks I couldn't get enough ruffles or mt. Dew. {T is a caffiene fiend} Of course, I'm not giving in to the Mt. Dew craving now that I know I"m pg for sure, but the ruffles are calling my name in loud unignorable tones.

The night before I tested I had the biggest craving for shredded cabbage with feta cheese as a salad. It was so good. I knew something was up and the next am those beautiful lines...I have been so hungry now for about 2 weeks. Thought it was some funny pms thing. :LOL

Nothing sounds very good right now -- I'm kind of constantly queasy and seldom hungry -- but the one thing that tasted best today was that pregnancy cliche: pickles!!!

Also, I seem to want savory things this time -- and my normal sweet tooth is nearly gone. When I want anything, I want miso soup with udon noodles, or tonight, I made matzo ball soup. There's a chocolate cake, cookies, and candy in my house from last night's hannukah party, and I don't want any of them! :jaw

FRENCH TOAST!

And anything with tomato or tomato products.

Both items I am generally not incredibly fond of.
