Hi everyone,
We are soon to be the proud parents of a beautifull 6 year old girl named Rebecca:D

Right now we are her aunt and uncle and she is in foster care in Montana. Long story short, her parents (my wifes sister and her husband) have just lost their parental rights.

She has had many ups and down in her life so far, but we hope we can change that and give her the loving home she deserves. I have been talking to her on the phone lately and she is so much fun.
Rebecca doesn't know anything about this yet. The social worker feels it would be best not to tell her until everything is final. We will cross that bridge when we come to it.

We decided 20 years ago when we were married that we would adopt a child someday. We are in our 40's now and everything just seems so right. Actually all of this seems perfect:D
She will make ours and we will make her life complete.

We are sooo excited about her, we almost can't wait until the day she is here.

I hope to meet many of you on the forums and I will keep you posted on her arrival:love

I am having a difficult time finding an active emailing fostering group. Fostering has it's ups and downs (or ins and outs! Pun
intended!:D )

Plus we are grand parents to 9 wonderful grandchildren. Plus,
we are adopting one of our precious foster children. We have
three drug exposed kids in our home right now. And we are
also raising 2 of our 9 grandchildren. Soooo, we have 5 children
in our home....and the oldest is not 4 yet! We are noisy, active,
busy, messy, but very happy. I wouldn't change anything..except
maybe more sleep!!

I didn't fill out the line on location, and now I don't know how to go back and fill it in! I live in Oklahoma. I was in Colorado one
time for a couple of hours, and completely fell in love! Hopefully,
we will return and stay longer. Would have to be when there are less kids here!!
