Wondering about unsafe cleaning solutions during pregnancy.
Specifically I have to use a product called Sanizide almost daily at work and am wondering if I should tell them that I won't be able to do that any longer.
I did a search and found info on the product here http://www.medegen.com/mmp/msds/SaniZide%20Germicidal%20Solution.pdf#search='saniz ide%20safety' and at least it doesn't say anything bad about use during pregnancy, but I'm still concerned.
I also found this http://www.mst.dk/default.asp?Sub=http://www.mst.dk/udgiv/publications/2000/87-7944-210-2/html/kap04_eng.htm about Alkyl-dimethyl-benzyl-ammonium an ingredient in Sanizide and according to this site the only fetal problems found in studies on rats was when sanizide was put into the vagina (and the cruelty of that to rats is a totally different post.
I concieved on 11/15 and have used the sanizide since then, but want to have as natural a pregnancy as possible. Should I stop using it? I'm slightly worried about what my employer will say, but baby is much much much more important.
Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
