hi there! Okay, so according to LMP, I should be due 7/21, but at week 7, they told me I was week 6, (which changed me to the 31st), then at the last visit 1/3/05, they pushed me back another 3-4 days....who knows! By the time all is said and done, I think I'll be pregnant 12 months total! :D

Our wedding anniversary is August 4. Am I a total loser for not wanting to share that date with my child? I just want to keep the two separate - I think that it is important to maintain your identity - individually, as a parent, AND as a couple! Too many couples splitting once the kids are grown...like they have no idea who they are married to anymore once the kids are gone....I even saw my parents go through a hard decade together that seems to have come to a close now...I'm 29.

I don't think it's selfish not to want to share your wedding anniversary with your child! But if it DOES happen, you can always pick an alternative day to celebrate baby's birth or your wedding. Really, I think anniversaries are more about the time you take to connect and not the specific date. DH and I have only once celebrated on our actual anniversary and I was 8 mos pg at the time, so it wasn't much of a celebration! :D

As for your due date, go with your gut. I happen to think that basing due dates off ultrasound is total bull$#!t. Yes, the technology is great and they can tell a lot of things, but my due date w/ #1 got pushed a week later because of the u/s and he was born the day after his original due date. They've pushed our date a week later with this one based on ultrasound, but then I would have had pg signs before being pg, so I highly doubt it! :eyesroll

Either way, the baby will come when it's ready! Congratulations!

My "official" due date is Sept. 2 (ds's bday) but I know exactly when I conceived which for me makes it August 31....yeah, I know 2 days is no biggie, but I know what I know.

I also know that if baby is breech and I am able to turn him/her then we will likely go the full two weeks "late" (as with my dd) considering family history. so that brings me to Sept. 11 or 12.

So should I be in Sept. or Aug? :D

#2 for me- according to LMP I am due 8/30/05 (not taking into account my cycle runs 26 days vs. 28 then due date is 8/28/05). Then I have to take into account that my dd was born 1 week early (10 years to the day of dh and my first kiss! 8/13/03) AND it was a full moon. MY prediction is that this baby will be born 8/19/05- a full moon. I am really hoping for another Leo since I am a Virgo (8/25). Don't know the sex yet but judging by my post- whatever it is- it is sure to make me a little loopy!

Hello all, please add me to this list- our anniversary is August 3rd and I'm due the 5th. I can totally understand wanting to keep the two dates separate- for me and dh though, we have a contest about whose birthday is lousiest- mine is the day after my little brothers', read left over cake, and dh's is on Valentine's day, we haven't celebrated Valentine's since we got together five years ago (it's really quite fun, although it sounds depressing) and I'm sort of excited that the baby will be able to join in on the outcry of lousy birthdays!
