I swear this will be the longest pregnancy EVER. I am 9 weeks and feel like I'm at least 6 months into this. I feel and look huge. And I have no idea if it's because I'm showing or because I'm eating too much, LOL.
And I have been absolutely blessed with a relatively morning sickness free 1st trimester. I only get sick when I don't eat or if I eat too much. I know how it's like to be plagued with ms 24/7 and sympathize with ALL who are going through it. My last pregnancy was HELL.
So anyway, I see my midwife on Wednesday for my first pre-natal visit. Ugh. I hate internal exams. :irked:

I feel a bit the same way. I haven't seen or heard the baby yet and keep thinking to myself "is there any way I might be further along?" "was that last period really a period?"
I swear, in my other pregnancies I have never gained weight until well into the second trimester, I have already gained over 5 pounds and am only 9 weeks. I also can't button up some of my pants. I don't know what is going on and if this is any indication of what I'm going to be packing on this pregnancy I am very afraid.

I am also 9 weeks - and with both of the above poster's (except on the morning sickness thingy) about feeling way more pregnant than I actually am!
I, too, have difficulty with pant buttons popping. I am tall and skinny and with my ds I did not even show until 5 mos. I never needed maternity clothes either - just size 14 stuff (usually a 10-12) But at 9 weeks pregnant I am already digging through my baggy pregnancy clothes looking for some comfy tracky dacks and a loose fitting T-shirt to hide my pot! I am eating like a pig. Dh says that I only have one meal a day; he says it starts when I wake up and ends when I go to bed! (He doesn't know about the choccy's in the middle of the night! Teee hee heee!)
I reckon it's because our bodies know what to do this time around and the hormones relax your uterine muscles - so we get our jelly belly's back! Or so I'll keep telling myself as I raid the pantry again.
