Hi to all New Mexico mommies out there. I live in Albuquerque and was looking through the posts to this forum in the last few months, searching for others who live here. My partner and I have two babies - one 2 years old and one 5 months. I stay at home and she (my partner) works. I would love to get to know and meet other SAH moms/dads and possibly get together a playgroup.

I answered your pm. There are several moms in the area that i know of. i work but dh is home with dd during the day. i have weekends free. and i ain't all that straight myself.

thanks for anwsering! I feel like it has been such a struggle to meet moms (or dads) around here who are attachment parenting oriented.

I anwsered you pm, and was wondering if any of the other moms you know might also be interested in a moms/playgroup also. Perhaps just a time when we could all meet at a park or something and get to know each other a little bit. We love Summit park and a friend of mine is planning a "Summit Park Picnic" (why can't I seem to spell that word today?) next Saturday the 14th. I don't really know any details yet, except anyone and everyone is invited. I'll post details when I find them out. And I know she and her husband are planning on posting flyers at the park, too.

Cooooool.... We LOVE Summit Park! It's Cricket's favorite!
I am not 100% sure we can come - but we will try - (we also have a birthday party that day) and a football game, too! YIKES! But if we can squeeze it in, we'll be there - even if just for a few minutes - I would LOVE to meet other attachment parents!

Wow, I was going to post a thread about the city. What is it like to live there? How is the weather year round? What areas and schools are preferred? DH and I are looking to relocate. At first we thought North Carolina, but now we're pretty excited about lokking into your area. Any information (or links to information on your area would be appreciated). What a better way to learn about an area than to hear from those living there!!

We are looking to move in the next 2 years (we have to finish fixing up our house). But we're thinking of plannign a trip to visit the area). Who knows, maybe in a few years I'll be joing you at the park!! :thumb
