Yikes! :yikes: Am only 7 weeks along and (seemingly overnight), the boob fairy arrived and endowed me! What do folks do about bras? Am I going to have to buy a whole series of progressively bigger bras, or is there a secret bra shortcut I should know about? (Obviously, one item of clothing I won't be able to borrow from dh.)

I'm only not quite 5 weeks and my favorite bra is already feeling a bit snug. I usually just buy a 'loose' bra in the next cup size up...just one...and then by about 10 weeks seems to stabilize...then I just buy nursing bras since that seems to be my size afterwards too.

I'm a 42/44 D as it is.. and yeah my bras are already snug. :( I gained 4 inches and a cup and a half in size with Jordan and bf'ing her, so I'm almost afraid of where I'll end up with this one...

Hello...I'm so small breasted normally, that I finally am getting some boobs- fuller...I keep bumping into them at night when I roll over...I found a bra extension during a prev preg that you can clip on the bra and it makes it looser. Does nothing for the bra size. Under my sweaters, I'm just wearing t-shirts right now...feels more comfortable.

:LOL We called them the "uber-boobies" last time!
And yes, they're back. Unhooking my bra at the end of the day, I forget how much heavier they are now, and always let out a little yelp when they "release." Ouch!
I saved my uber-boobie bras from last time, so I just pulled them out of storage. I had a few non-underwire bras in a size AND cup bigger, cheap ones from Target, and they lasted pretty well until my dd was born. Then I blew a mint on really supportive nursing bras, and it was worth it. Just my two cents, but that worked for me.

Uber-boobies! Absolutely love it! :LOL Target, here I come.
Just out of curiosity, what kind of supportive nursing bras did you find?

Last time, I had to buy new bras early -- maybe by 8 weeks, because I was absolutely gushing out of bras that marginally fit before pg. Those lasted me until almost the end, then there was *another* fairy visit. I went from big to huge to OMG! Seriously.
This time, thankfully, my bras are on the bigger side, so I've still be able to just loosen one notch, and now *these* marginally fit (you know, the ol' adjustment if you do anything much with your arms?). Anyway, I also still have my big ol' bras for later.
As for where to find bigger bras -- I usually end up with the sports bras, because by big ol boobies are so stinkin' heavy.... title9sports.com has some that go up to H. Thankfully, there is a store here that has really good ones, and they're quite nice. If you're in Portland, I'll tell you more.
