Anyone else experiencing strange things this early on in pregnancy?

The palms of my hands have been itchy for days.

The thought of eating nauseates me, but once I start eating I'm ravenous!

Our new kitten (got him the week after Thanksgiving) is following me around the house and curls up on my lap/belly as soon as I sit/lay down!

I don't know about the first two, but I've heard that about cats! I was just looking at someone's blog the other day and she was talking about their three cats. When she got pg, two of the cats didn't want anything to do with her anymore, and still don't have any interest in the baby. But the third cat would follow her around and sleep on or next to her belly, and is the baby's best friend now.

Animals are such funny things!

LOL...weird about the cats. I work as a nanny, and the family has 2 cats...I wonder if I'm going to be cat-stalked?

Rufus, my dog, is acting funny too. He did when I was pg with Connor as well. He just wants to curl up in my lap and/or always be by me. He is always craving attention but this is different. The other night we were at my SIL's house and her dog woldn't leave me alone either.

Connor is acting funny too. The last couple of weeks, he has been obsessed with my breasts. He is 25 months old and self weaned at 18 months. All of a sudden he's trying to nuzzle his head against them, or touch them. The newest is when I read to him, he rests his head on one shoulder, reaches across me with his one hand and holds my one breast while I read!! What's up with that? I know it's probably his age but it's so funny (ironic funny) that he's started to do this now!!

My dog has been acting super strange. To the point where before I said anything my dh brought it up. She's been sitting at my feet all the time, laying next to me on the couch. The couch thing is weird because she always lays in the corner by dh, always has, she's his baby. Now she sits next to me.

I hit a wall last week, that's when I knew something was up. I was unbelievably tired. I was taking naps, doing nothing around the house. That's what gave me the first clues that I was pg.

yes, horribly strange! I forgot my ATM card in the machine at like 1 day past ovulation. I left my door as in front door WIDE OPEN when I went to get my beta done and last night I dropped a whole HALF GALLON of organic yogurt in the sink.

waaaaaaah! I want my brain back! :(

I have in the past two weeks: called a friends' cat 'Leo" (my son's name), told a next door neightbor 'goodbye- I love you' (scared the hell out of him) and chatted with an obscene phone caller GAVE HIM MY NAME and only then realised that his guy was breathing and grunting and calling me his girlfriend. he was so pleased with the encounter that he called back soon afterwards- I let my dh handle that one. I'm now heading to a fatalistic mind set where I'm just curious as to what I'm going to do next.

I'm not even going to admit how many meals I've now burned.

Burning meals? How about forgetting that you cooked them altogether??? :LOL Last night my dh came home and asked me if the food on the stove was still good. I asked him "What food?" and when he replied I started laughing hysterically. I had competely forgotten I cooked it and had been wondering why I was SO hungry, as I HAD eaten dinner (only I couldn't remember what I ate...I wonder why....) :o
