Examples of how you deal with a distressed toddler?

Hi There

I have just joined this forum.... Im not a mother but a childcare worker and planning on having my own in the next year or so... At the moment I am working with 2 year old children 15 of them :) and would apreciate any information on dealing with distressed todders

Could you be more specific about the reasons for them being distressed? I have 2yo and why he is distressed usually determines how I deal with it.
