I thought it was weird that I really haven't had many symptoms this pregnancy...in fact, I don't think I ever really felt pregnant this time around. Today I've been cramping all day though...constant dull down low cramps... :( Hopefully they're just nothing, but I'd appreciate some sticky baby vibes please... :shy

I've been having cramps too. I don't think it's anything to worry about it's just our uterus getting use to her new neighbor. :love

I may not be around much today... Yesterday I was cramping a lot, and this morning it's a lot worse. I also have a really sore lower back...he hasn't been this sore since I was in labor with Brandon. I'm a little concerned about this...something doesn't feel right at all.... :(

Popping in from the March board- :hug

I had some cramping in my first few weeks too- I think around 8 or 9weeks. I even had a tiny bit of pink discharge but I slowed down at work (sorry guys I ain't coming in for a few days and that's that) and just rested and now I am 29 weeks and counting! It's weird but I found that if I had sex and got up and moved around a lot right after then I would cramp but if we say did it at night and I got to rest after it then I didn't have anything but a little cramping for a few minutes.

Good luck mama- I just wanted to share my story so you can see that it can work out a-okay!

I was reading at Barnes&Noble today that cramping is actually considered a pregnancy discomfort in the first month. It's normal enough to be in a book.

Thank you everyone... :) It's let up a little...I wonder if it was just a combination of Bran nursing a lot and him moving around in bed a lot last night (meaning I was also all over the bed last night). Maybe that's why my back hurts too?

It does sound like it could be a combination of the two.

When you nurse, your uterus contracts slightly (it contracts much harder when you're having an orgasm than when nursing, so if you're OK to have sex, nursing is perfectly fine :LOL ) and some moms who nurse through pregnancy (and some who don't!) find that when their nurslings are nursing frequently they feel crampy or sometimes just tight in the uterine area. In early pregnancy that, combined with your suddenly expanding uterus can amplify the effects. It's not bad or harmful, just annoying.

This is the third time nursing through pregnancy (the second time tandem nursing through pregnancy!) and I'm so used to it it didn't even register when you mentioned that you were crampy! Sorry!
