Poor dh was so desperate to GIO, so we did. I remember bleeding often when pg with ds. Sure enough, I bled afterwards, bright red. I couldn't really tell if it was clotty b/c it was way in the bottom of the toilet bowl. I know there is nothing to do about it, and that it is probably not a problem. At only 4 weeks, if I miscarried, would it even feel like anything? Would it feel more painful than the usual early pregnancy crampiness?

:Hug Lilli ... how scary! If it seems to be common for you during pregnancy, I wouldn't worry about it (OK I would worry about it, just because I'm a worrier....but I shouldn't worry about it! :LOL

Oh, poor thing -- I am sending you lots of hugs and baby dust. That is such a scary thing -- I am freaked with any kind of bleeding. If you guys did just gio and then it happened (I think some book I read said it is normal to spot even up to 48 hrs later), then it is probably just from your cervix -- all those little blood vessels so engorged and sensitive. Still, I know it is hard to rest easy. I am just going to keep sending you those hugs and lots of 'sticky' vibes! Take care.

It is scary. I was told I have a vascular cervix but found that out at the end of the pregnancy so I was on pelvic rest.
Its most likely nothing and only happened because of the sex.

I bled too my last pregnancy when we gio. I think you would know if you mc'd, wouldn't you? It sounds like you didn't. Wish you the best.

Yeah, it only was right after sex and then maybe a few spots later, that actually came out with the rest of the semen. I have always had a really vascular cervix and bleed with a PAP or anything. Still sucks, though, and I didn't want to have sex for that reason. I told him I don't want to do it for awhile. Poor guy!

oh Lilly! I'm sorry you are having this scary moment!
I bled after sex with my dd, but I was about 8 weeks at that time. I was in bed for a couple of days and an ultrasound showed everything was ok :) Please let me know if you need anything and how it all goes! :love

nope, not pregnant. Just lurk here sometimes.. now that you are pg I asked dh if we could, maybe, perhaps, but the answer was NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Ya think after such a strong answer there is room to convince him? lol

Hmmm... maybe you could seduce him. Take the kids to mom's house and put on something sexy before he comes home. Get him drunk so he forgets about birth control. And GIO...

Sorry to hear that you have bleeding to worry about, Lilli. If it happened last time you were pregnant and everything was okay, that should ease your mind a tiny bit. Still must be tough, though. Hang in there and call you midwife if you think you need some reassurance. I seem to be a bit of the opposite of you. I don't tend to bleed for anything other than actual menstruation. I would totally freak if I were to start bleeding during this pregnancy. Even with my loss and all the problems I never bled. Anyway, take care!
And, Carmen, that would be quite a coincidence if three of us Pittsburgh folk were all due at the same time. I was wondering when I first saw your name on the post, too!

Hi there- I bled throughout my prior 2 pgs every time we had sex. I think some women's cervix are just very sensitive. This time aorund, I am not having sex the first tri - not because its dangerous but I stress so much when I see blood, so I am avoiding it if possible. (Poor DH!). Good luck to you!
