I'm so upset!!! I loved some of those clothes, and some of them were pricy. There were a couple of shirts from Gap and Motherhood I was really looking forward to seeing again :-( Of course, I would probably have needed new pants, but still--now I'm going to have to fork over for a whole new maternity wardrobe. I'm so bummed about this. Both DH and I looked all morning, and nothing.

Ergh, sorry, just had to vent. We really don't have the money for this right now!

Sorry to hear about that! Maybe they will turn up in some strange place, before you have to buy more. I may have my own maternity clothes dilemma. I'm close friends with two sisters. One of them just had a baby in Nov and had mentioned that I could borrow her maternity clothes when I got pregnant. Turns out her sister is due in August. I borrowed a lot of maternity clothes from her sister the first time around. Perhaps we can split the summer maternity clothes...Mine are pretty much all wintery (ds was born in Jan) and I doubt I'll get much use out of them.

:hug I hope you find them! they can't just have walked off right?

I'm in the same dilema. I used my twin's maternity clothes with Noah and they are positively THREADBARE. In fact I converted several to rags this summer!

I don't usually buy many, just 2-3 shirts and 2 pants. won't be buying a dress this time, since to my knowlege there's no maternity nursing dresses!

Thanks you guys :) My mom actually just called, she found them in her basement. Why on earth they're over there, I don't know, because we had storage space that we used at our old apartment! But I am so relieved. Now I probably only need to buy a few pairs of pants and new nursing bras, since my current ones are getting a bit snug (and ratty) now--I can only imagine how they'll feel in 7 months, LOL.

Whew! And I love eBay for maternity clothes, definitely look there first. Plus, right now JCPenney's having a big sale on maternity wear, and there's a free shipping code out there too. I think it's WELC24, but I'm not positive. If you don't like what you bought, they let you return it at a store with a catalog desk (which I think is every store).

I lent all my maternity clothes to a friend who is due in June. She is going to give them back to me, plus what else she buys, as she grows out. This is her last, so I get to keep them! Yay! So excited!

It's great that you found them!!!

I gave away a bunch of my maternity clothes after my last pregnancy (which I thought was my last pregnancy!). I did unearth a box with some maternity clothes so I do have about 5 shirts, a couple pairs of shorts and a couple pair of jeans....but all the shirts have stains (went through two pregnancies and I continuously spill things on my preggo belly!). I went to Salvation Army thrift store, and while I didn't find any maternity clothes my size (I'm a "plus" sized mama!) I did find some funky shirts that are several sizes too big for me and happen to be longer in the front than in the back, so I'll use those. Perhaps my mommy will have mercy on me and take me shopping for some maternity stuff...then again, I think she'll flip out when she finds out I'm pg (tomorrow!!!), so I won't count on it!

Aaargh -- I can totally relate! I am so glad you found them! I lent out my favourite pants (both leggings, one capri-style, one yoga-style) that were sooooo comfy (and pricey -- my mom had bought them for me) to one friend, and a pair of funky cords, to another. The one with the cords said she doesn't have them (my dh remembers seeing me lend them to her; she didn't even say she would actually look for them), and my other friend lives pretty far away and we don't talk much anymore (I think she probably got rid of them anyway). I am sooooo bummed. I guess when we finally finish one pregnancy we don't want to look at mat clothes for a while, but we forget we might actually be glad to see them again someday! :eyesroll . Anyway, I am glad I am not the only one . . . *sigh*.

Glad you found your clothes. Now where is mine? I think my sister has them. I had gap stuff, but I think I bought the wrong kind of pants. It wasn't stretchy at the waist, and I had to wait til I was 8 months along before they fit. Oh well, I'm looking for an excuse to get some clothes. I saw some cute stuff at Mimi's.
