I am a quiet person. I don't like tv, radios, chatter. I have learned to deal with the noises that come to being a mom of a little boy. But, I am pregnant, I am tired and I am ridiculously short tempered. My ds has been making mouth noises, screeches, squeeks, growls, barks, sirens, alarms, scraping things on the wall, drumming, tapping, banging and generally annoying the crap out of me. :bag: I've found myself begging him to stop talking for a minute. To go squeak in his room.

Good heaven I hope this passes because I am becoming a shrew.

I know what you mean about noise. My ILs tease me about how quiet I always want my house. When I am visiting, I always do things like turning down their TV (because no one is watching), etc. I had a girlfriend who came to visit, and was totally disturbed about how quiet I like it - no TV on, no radio. (The kids were sleeping..... my only quiet time!!) I have managed to convey this idea to my boys..... with limited success. Nik does know there is a time to make noise and a time to play quiet...... and he's pretty good about it - for a 3yo.
I find too much noise stressful. I don't like to add any unnecessary stress to my life. :LOL
I totally understand what you are going through.
Here's another hug for you - :hug

I completely understand.

Though I like to have the radio on during the day to keep me company. Chaotic noise coming at me from all angles is overwhelming.

Dd went through the same chatty phase when she was that age. And ds is 5 y.o. and is still in "that phase".
