A few nights ago, I thought a PB and J sandwich sounded good, and we paused the movie we were watching- dh made it....but took a bite and nearly gagged. I started crying..."there's nothing I like to eat anymore, nothing sounds good... etc".
So funny what can trigger a pregnant woman!! I have to say, I don't in particular think I've been moody or teary...so it caught me off guard!!!
Anyone else like to share :)

I don't watch the news as a general rule, because it is all bad and I can't stand it. BUt you can't avoid all the tsunami stories, there was this one, about this baby they named baby 81, cause they don't know its name. And there are a dozen families fighting over this baby! Lucky baby, soo sad for the families. :crying

I was watching a news show about girl siamese twins who were going to be separated. When the Mom handed them over I felt her pain and just started bawling. I have never been in that situation, but my heart ached for her as a Mother.

Those "Having a Baby Changes Everything" comercials ! Ha Ha! I can't believe that a comercial has made me cry! :)
I'm sure my husband would mention other emotional rides, but that's the goofiest one!

We bought "Baby on the Way" by the Dr Sears. It's way too old for ds, but I figured the pictures would give us ideas on how to talk about the baby. This excerpt killed me, "...As the baby gets bigger and bigger, your mommy's lap gets smaller and smaller. But there's always room for you on your mommy's lap. Just ask her; she'll show you." Man, it took me 15 minutes just to type that, I keep crying so hard I can't see the keyboard.
Or we were in the bookstore and saw that Miracle of Life book, that has all the pictures of the fetus and then the newborn pictures. I remember when ds was that little and I get all teary-eyed. And then what really gets me going is when I think about how little he really is and how am I going to give all the same love and attention to this little one. Ok, I'm just bawling here, so I'll go.
Yeah - when I'm pregnant I blame it on the hormones, but I've found since having ds I've become more emotional overall, I used to be a CNN/news junkie, no more, can't stand all the unfortunate stories. So here I am, crying about my lap dissappearing while ds mashes beef fried rice into his lap while moving from the bowl - to his table - to his bowl - to the table....ahhh, back to reality!

Ok - here's another line from that book - tell me you're not crying, (this part is about how when your mommy is having the baby, she'll be away from you)
"...But no matter how busy your mommy is, she will be thinking of you - wherever she goes and wherever you are. Because you are always special in your mommy's heart."
ok - off to clean up the beef fried rice and steal a hug from my little man.

The other night I guess I had a bad dream. I can't even remember what it was about anymore. Well, I woke up and cried for 45 minutes!! All because of a dream!!! Darn hormones!! LOL!! :bag:

Don't get me started on those commercials...
Watched a failed VBAC on Babies Special Delivery last night that had me in tears... but other than that, nothing much beyond the norm for me. Of course, I also have been known to giggle like a moron when s/he starts moving...

Hmmm, the most emotional moment.
I guess I'd have to say that was finding out I was pg, since this was quite unexpected.
But I did have a pathetic experience of hearing an aria while driving to work, and bursting out crying because the high note that a tenor sang sounded so beautiful. I was literally wiping tears from my face. Freak!

I'll have to say there have been quite a few moments this time! Today, while driving to Grandma's house, I was listening to this radio broadcast on mothers who took their daughters to a "mother-daughter" conference and they broadcast the part where the mothers got up on stage and read prayers that they had written for their daughters. I was bawling so hard I almost had to pull over!
I pretty much start blubbering anytime I hear anything to do with children or babies...especially if it is something sad like a parent who has lost a child or had to watch their child suffer.
