I'm not having any cravings so far, but the funniest thing is absolutely revolting to me right now - dirty dishes! Dh didn't believe me until he walked in on me trying to clean up after dinner and I was dry heaving into the sink! It's not funny at the time, looking at all the gross, dirty dishes and knowing that I have to smell them and touch them and rinse them, ugh, getting grossed out thinking about it.
So now guess who's doing all the dishes?! :love That's one change from last pregnancy to this, w/ds's (our first) he had very little respect for emotional upheaval, crying jags, mis-used words etc, this time he's MUCH more understanding. :thumb

. . .vegetables. Can't touch em. Ugh. I really, really, really miss them.
Oh, and DH's hair goo. Oh my GOD - the smell makes my stomach churn.
Hmmm, the smell of onions makes me feel really sick.
I like sour things when I am pg, like V8 juice (just bought a huge crate of these at sam's club), lemon drops and citrus fruit.

I want tacos! Haven't had any, yet! Love pickles and sauerkraut. Want salty foods. Love tomatoes and oranges. Any fruit really, but not too hot on bananas. Haven't been eating many veggies. Just don't want them, but am eating dark green salads. yum!

I want wet, cold things -- baby carrots, clementines, bell peppers, apples that have been in the fridge, apple juice, sorbet, cucumbers, etc. I wish it were the right season for strawberries and grapes, since those sound good too.
The only thing that really grosses me out is this soy cheese that I LOVED before I got pregnant. The thought of cutting a chunk off and eating it...ugh... :Puke

I've craved peas, burritos, veggies, taco salad...I craved steak and then couldn't look at it the next day.
I LOVE not having cat box duty anymore.

Was repulsed by diet coke yesterday {yeah I know the stuff's not good while pg anyways, but all that was left in the vending machine was that and mt. dew} and I've been addictedto the stuff since high school....
Cravings have been weird... hot fudge, carrots, oranges, that sort of thing. Comfort foods too, but I'm trying not to give in to those....

I am very sick so almost anything at any time can make me grossed out. But I am liking roast beef on bagel and creamsicles. Also, only able to drink soda right now, clear kinds. So, uh, my diet is kind of limited and not very good! Hope to do better next trimester! :bag:

cravings change all the time but this weeks it has been Japanese food pretty consistently.
repulsed by meat and spicy foods. And sometimes that changes daily too

I have the oddest repulsions, and so many more than cravings too. I get nauseous by simply thinking about foods, sometimes, and that really sux...

Meat, chicken, fish consistently repulse me. The only fish that I want occasionally is tuna fish sandwich. I usually don't eat those because of mercury, but I've had to try one since I was pg. I want veggies but they make me vomit (normally I live on them).
I crave navel oranges. Otherwise, it depends on the day.
I'm sad to say that reading other people's cravings made me really nauseous. :-P

I am hungry for wet food, like salad, oranges, and fruit.
We had some excellent oranges the other day, I am going back to the store to buy more today!
Oh and I have been craving salty food like chips lately. I love the Dill pickle chips, or vinegar/salt chips.
Turned off by anything greasey. We ordered pizza the other night, and I could barely eat it. I ate it cold and it was much better.

Changes daily. This morning I woke up and HAD to have a V-8 and almonds for breakfast.
I cannot stand the smell of coffee. Or car fumes.

Recent cravings: sour cream, black bean dip, roast beef, strawberries, grapefruit, hot dogs (don't think I've had a hot dog since I was pg with DD...WOW did it taste good, and yes I know they're terrible for you!), tostitos, orange juice
Repulsed by: raw veggies, ice cream (WTH?), sesame seed bagels (which were my staple breakfast for weeks), all the really good chocolate DH got me for Christmas, chili
I just started being attracted to coffee again, but I can only ever manage about 1/3 of one cup of half-caf before I get this nasty taste in my mouth.
At about this time with DD, my big cravings were salad (but it had to have a certain kind of dressing on it....a kind we can't get here in VT!) and grilled chicken basted with Italian dressing. Lol.

It's so cool to see another Nancy! I'm usually the only Nancy around...
Anyway, I've been craving, well, EVERYTHING. I think about food 24/7. I've been eating about every hour, and am ready to gnaw my own arm off by two hours. I've wanted citrus (oranges, grapefruit, mandarins, and, um, creamsicles), chicken salad (I'm pretty veggie normally), OJ, Yobaby pear yogurt, quinoa, ginger anything, salt and vinegar chips, chard, seitan, baked tofu, those little mozzarella balls, hazelnut chocolate...
you get the idea. The only bizarre moment is when I couldn't swallow pizza--it felt like sawdust in my mouth. (Calysto, I hear you about that just being sick and wrong.)
I know it's normal to be hungry at this point (I'm 14w), but this seems excessive. I was on the subway and had to sit on my hands because I kept having fantasies about grabbing this guy's peanut M&Ms (which I don't even like normally). I lost some weight with the flu and was pretty skinny before that--maybe that's way?
Anyway, I think my 6'4" dh is still a little dumbfounded by the amount I'm eating. :LOL

Last week I had a big craving for nachos with jalapenos. Lately it has been turkey and pickle sandwiches. :)
I cannot stand the smell of a pan that meat has been cooked it. It has to be rinsed and cleaned right away.

Today it was raw carrots dipped in salad dressing. I couldn't get enough. It is so different each day. I have to keep a wide assortment of stuff in the house just in case there is a certain something I must have.
I am really turned off by most stir-frys , which is sad. I think it is the soy sauce that is grossing me out, but I have to avoid the whole thing for now, soy sauce or not.

Repulsed by: Leafy green salads and vegetables, just can't get them past my mouth. Yesterday I gagged on my whole grain tortillas and almost threw up.
Normally, I NEVER drink pop, but lately I have been craving it like crazy. My husband had a pack of Pepsi and I have had three of them in the past week--yuck! Also, I've been craving vanilla shakes. The milk makes me sick so I end up with a stomach ache afterward. Also been craving salty things like Doritos. I can't believe I'm eating all this junk!
nabigus-I know how you feel. I've been going crazy for food this pregnancy. Been putting on weight like crazy compared to my first pregnancy where I was too sick to eat and lost weight in the first trimester. I think about eating all the time and if I go more than an hour or two, I have to get something quick before I get sick and go crazy! :LOL

I cannot eat eggs...they remind me of the sac in my ultrasound. :(
Oh, and raw meat makes me feel sick... for some reason it doesn't bother me as much once cooked... :shrug
I have been craving spinach dip and bottled water... go figure.
I am very proud of myself for having given up carbonated drinks entirely...I've drinken them since I was a kid... Diet Coke, usually... but I picked up a 24 pack of bottled water a couple weeks ago and ever since - I have no interest in soda and am constantly needing my bottle of water. I have even noticed my body feels better since this change... more pure, in a sense... I know that sounds odd... it's hard to describe.... :shy

I've been repulsed by pig meat in any form. Yuck.
I've craved junk food (fritos and potato chips) which I don't normally eat. Also yuck. Weird.

Salsa make me vomit. During my first pregnancy as well as this one. Normally, I like it quite a bit. Otherwise I am eating everything I can get my hands on. I find myself eating a bunch of junk all day long, and then I feel guilty and binge on the heathy stuff to compensate. At this rate, I'll be a house by August :eyesroll

My dh brought home a new brand of laundry detergent before I even knew I was pregnant and it was awful....made me want to vomit every time I smelled it. It wasn't bad once the clothes were washed in it, but while pooring it in........gag! I'll never buy that brand again and it's now fine!
Now it's McDonalds. Just walking in makes me sick to my stomach. The smell is absolutely awful! Actually, the thought of it is making me sick too....LOL. I'm having trouble getting veggies in, too. :(
