Just thought I'd share...A couple of days ago I asked ds if he wanted a baby to come and live with us. He immediately said "baby girl". Ever since that one time that I asked him he has been saying "baby girl" at random throughout the day. So cute! I do kind of hope to have a girl, but I hope he's not too disappointed if it's a boy.

Of course I have no idea if he's right. But I remember my sister's sitter, who is from Ghana (I think), and she said in her culture, if you pick up a baby girl, and she doesn't want to be held, that means you're having a girl. If the baby doesn't fuss, you're having a boy. It was true for me.

Maybe kids have a sixth sense. I don't know if you read that thread about toddlers who all seemed to "know" that mom was pregnant. But my own ds started to say "baby, baby" constantly around the time I got pregnant (though he did not stipulate whether it was a girl or boy).

Whatever the case, it'll be fun guessing about sexes. I didn't find out for ds, and I won't find out this time either. It was so much fun guessing. Like how about this one: If your hair (legs, head, anywhere) stops growing, you are having a boy because all the testosterone is being gobbled up by the baby. I think that one is kind of true.
