Remember Captain and Tennille? I loved the song "Love will keep us together" It was a hit in the mid 70's now I suppose It would be considered real cheesy, at least by my teens. (BTW the Captain and Tennille are still together)
I'll be there, I'll be there, yes I will, just call my name, and I'll be there. Yes, and Billie Jean can;t come on without me tappin my toes... HEE HEE HEE OW!

OK, don't know as this counts because he's supposed to be silly/cheesy/not serious... but dh and I are Weird AL fans. And dd often ask if he can be put on so she can dance. Favorites of his...Of course Eat It and Bad, but also I Love Rockey Road, One More MInute, and I an anzious to hear him in concert some day so I can hear Chicken Pot Pie... as in Live and Let Die (Paul McMcartney won't let him record it). And then there is Dr. Demento, whom I'm not terribly familiar with, but the little I know is quite funny.
Rod Stewart.... If ya want my body, and ya think I'm sexy....

Jesse's Girl! Swoon, swoon... Rick Springfield (Aka Noah Drake) "And he's holdin' her in 'is arms late, late at night... don't you know I want Jesse's girl. Where can I find a woman like that?! You know I get so nervous when they start talkin' cute, I wanna tell 'er that I love 'er, but the point is prob'ly moot.." Ah, they don't write lyrics like that anymore!
NM, you get me all teary eyed. Love will Keep us Together is the BEST song, not cheesy! WHAT-EVA.... I will, I will, I wi----ill..."
Muscrat Love is a close second, of course... "Muscrat Susy, Muscrat Sam...

Speaking of singers turned soap stars, what is the name of the guy who was on Melrose Place for a long time, but prior to that had had a wildly popular song called "All I Need" All I can remember is "...it's easy to believe... you're all I need. Oooh- just remembered, Jack Wagner. That must be up there on the Cheese Factor- I loved it:p !
What was Rick arrested for?

Of course that doesn't describe dh, but you can't have everything, right?
"I wanna get back to my city by the bay....
ooooooooooooooooooooo" (those would be long o's)
--or anything by Journey.
I LOVE Journey!
I heard one of my favorite songs in the grocery yesterday-does anyone remember this one-How Long Has This Been Going On ..by Ace? I could listen to that song all day!! Also, Hello It's Me...Todd Rundgren? I love that one too. I wonder if those songs are actually cheesy because they are so good!!
Some day love will find you
Break those chains that bind you....
JOURNEY! Where's my lighter, baby? YES!
Also, "Her name is Rio and she dances on the sand..."
Simon Lebon... yummy.
