Helena mamas....anyone out there?!

My name is Samantha. We moved here about a year and a half ago...and since then I havent met ANYONE "like me" It seems like everyone I meet is REALLLY soggy, not that I am terribly crunchy myself.

I *need* to know I am not the only one who BF and CD's out there!!!!

Hi Samantha! Well, I currently live in Iowa, but we will be moving to Helena as soon as our house sells. My husband is originally from Helena. So, I won't know anyone but his family. I found this site when looking for websites to help me to find mamas like me too!! I have a 20 month old son, he was BF'd til 16 months, I don't CD, but would like to meet someone who does and try it with my next children (I just don't know anyone around here who CDs and wasn't brave enough to try it myself). I made most of his baby food and he loved it! I am an RN and will continue to work after we move. I kind of vary on my crunchiness as well! ;)

Hello!! I am still here!! I am trying to come up with some fun things for Garrett and me to do when the weather gets colder... I checked around a little and Carroll College has some time during the day where we could go splash around in the pool- for $2. They seemed to have the best times available that worked with my schedule. What other ideas does anyone have?

We are members at the Broadwater and the kids like to go and play in their play area. Someday we'll have a children's museum....that will be fun!

Hello there. I am fairly new to this site, but have lived in Helena since 98. I have a 6 yr old son and will be due with my second child in June :) . We are members of the YMCA although I much prefer the pool at the Broadwater...it's alot warmer! :) Hope this finds all of you doing well, Happy early Halloween!

Hello! :) Actually currently my son is attending Hawthorne, which I have been greatly pleased with so far, although we are considering enrolling him into a Christian based school next year if I can find one. Kudos to you on homeschooling! I wish I had the patience etc for that :)

Your name sounds awfully familiar, do you sell/sew cloth diapers? I play raquetball in the afternoons on Wed and Fri and we are sometimes out there on Mon/Thurs evenings. My 5 yo likes the climbing wall.
I work mornings, so I'm never there at that time.
