Bendy fairy hair help!

I have been trying to figure out how to make bendy fairies, and I think I'm good until I get to the hair! I would just glue some embroidery floss on and add an acorn cap, but I don't have any acorn caps. :(

Any hints on how to do the hair? Especially how to do hair without a hat?

I havent' made any, but I have some here and they have hair made of thin yarn that is just glued on. They have little bangs too!

it looks like it would be a bit difficult to get all the hair layed just right, but it turns out very pretty

I have some that have felt caps and crowns on them, very cute.

Thank you Linda! I read your post yesterday during naking gymnastics. I made a bendy for a little girl today while my daughter was in a class, and the bendy is wearing a crown thanks to you! The little girl was so happy to have a princess flower fairy, as she called it.

I did try making a cap from felt to look like a flower calyx, that worked well too.
