I'm so impatient. I hate the first weeks of pregnancy, when you feel like crap and there's nothing obvious to show for it. I want a belly, NOW, and I want to be at the point where the baby looks like a baby. It makes all the discomforts so much easier to bear.

Second time moms, are you showing? Or moms of more than two, when did you show the second time around?

I'm not really showing yet...just getting a little "thick" around the middle. All my regular clothes still fit, they just look like crap on :LOL
I am and am not looking forward to actually needing maternity clothes. The first time I was so excited, but by the end I was soooo sick of them. And it was my first pregnancy, so I wasn't in maternity clothes until 20-25 weeks! I can tell there's no way I'll make it even close to that far in regular clothes this time around, so I'm looking at at least a month longer of maternity clothes this time around.

This is my third, and all you can tell is that Im thick in the middle. I do think I will get into maternity sooner than with my 2nd.

First was about 4 1/2 to 5 months, second was about 4- 4 1/2 months. So I figure round about week 14-16 I ought to be in maternity if the pattern is consistent.

I know fourth and fifth time moms who are in maternity at 5 weeks. I knew a girl who was pregnant with her 6th a few yrs ago, and at 10 weeks she had a perfect little basketball tummy.

I too want to be able to see the baby growing and feel movement. I am 8 weeks with my second and I am showing a tad but not alot. Still in regular clothes with room.

I'm on my fourth and not showing yet, but then i'm 6 weeks. I figure by 10 weeks I'll be feeling the baby move AND showing. LOL

I felt #3 and 11 weeks. It freaked me out because I thought it had to be way too early.

I'm on my second and have the "thick" look, but I can't stand regular clothes and bought some smaller maternity pants, basically elastic waist pants.

I know I'll be sooooo sick of it by the end, but I would also like to get on with the pregnant look and forget the "fat" stage.

naked, you can tell I'm pregnant.
in clothes, well I can't get the pants buttoned but otherwise I look reasonably normal.

i'm 9 weeks pg and look fat in my regular clothes, definitely not a round looking pg tummy yet. I'm wearing my regular baggy sweaters and elastic waist pants.

This is my 5th pregnancy but 4th baby. I had a nice left-over pooch to begin with. Since about 4 1/2 wks I've been SOOOOOOO bloated I look like I'm 5 months preg. I've been wearing my maternity pants since then.

I can't wait for it to be an ALL baby belly!!!!!! :love

I'm just a big rectangle. A water-retaining rectangle. My jeans still fit, although I've removed the belt. But they're low-rise. I don't think I could button something over my belly now, but I definitely don't look pregnant. I just look pudgy.

Yup, I'm in the chubby stage here too. My regular pants fit but having anything remotely tight pressing against my stomach makes me feel ill so I'm mostly going around in sweats, ick. I feel like such a slob! I'm really excited about going maternity clothes shopping but I'm trying to hold off til I'm really showing.

Well...I'm just about in my 11th week (with our first) and I didn't really think I was starting to show until I put on maternity pants and holy smokes...I've got a little round pooch going on =) And my boobs are like, 3 sizes bigger than before. So yeah. My Mom took me maternity shopping and it was awesome, I got some really cute clothes. I'm starting to get excited about getting bigger.

I'm 9 weeks along in my first pg (with triplets) - haven't fit into blue jeans for 3 weeks. Decided to just put on some maternity overalls - very comfy! I am definitely showing now; people have started to notice.

i had to give in to maternity pants this week. long shirts to cover the panel. when i stand sideways you can see the bump. Truly ridiculous, esp hearing that mom2six is 10 weeks w her 7th and not showing.

Ive been thru all the transitional clothing I own... didnt see the point in buying more transitional clothes I guess. I started at 8/10 and would be in 14s now.. but I onlyhave 1 pair of 14s.

Im not excited to show. This means that around 28-30 weeks Ill start getting the "geez youve been pregnant forever, when are you gonnahave that baby" and Ill have 10 weeks to go. I get as big as a house at the end, people are sure its twins or triplets every time.. I just carry low and far out is all. But when I got asked the other day 'when are you due" and I said "October" they just stared... like how is that possible?

I could have written your post. I look like I'm carrying a horse by the end of my pregnancy. I always laugh at those labels on maternity clothes - you know the ones, "Buy your pre-pregnancy size." Whatevah!! I'm a size 8 when I'm not pregnant, and by month 8, I'm putting the XL maternity clothes to the stretch test!!

But to answer the OP, I'm 8.5 weeks, and just looking pudgy. With babe #1, I started in maternity clothes at 16 weeks. Could've started earlier - I was wearing a rubber band thru the buttonhole and around the button of my regular pants for a few weeks before I broke out the maternity clothes. With babe #2, I got practical. I think I moved into maternity clothes at 10 weeks. I'm aiming for 10 weeks this time, too. I refuse to wear maternity clothes before my first OB appointment!! :LOL (Which is next week, when I'll be 9 weeks.)

Yea, I want to show too!! I am only 7 weeks and this is our third. I did not show with my other two until about 5mo. But this time I just cannot wait! I want a reason to be getting big! Ha, Ha!

:LOL
