i just found this book while i was browsing the pregnancy books at the library. it looked interesting so i took it out and im hooked. its a beautiful book about a womans experience becoming a midwife. i have already been brough to tears, which doesnt seem hard these days.. but it feels so good to read. it does have some sad parts but also some very empowering parts. i havnt finnished it but i highly reccomend it already!

oh and the author is... peggy vincent
she has a website as well.. www.babycatcher.net
( i havnt checked it out yet)

I *loved* this book! Also, "Misconceptions" by Naomi Wolf was very enlightening! :thumb

I loved BabyCatcher! I've reread it a bunch of times, and it was Peggy Vincent's appendix that lead me to Mothering.

I also strongly recommend Midwifes, by Catherine Taylor.

Happy reading!!
