Is there a place online that you can register for a shower, which has a great assortment of popular ap products? Some of the things on my list would be:

Co Sleeper
Organic baby clothes
Maya Wrap or OTSBH sling
robeez or busbees baby shoes
Wide assortment of cloth diapers
Possibly natural wood baby furniture
Nursing supplies
organic/wooden toys

Any idea's?

I'm interested in any responses too. People are starting to say the "S" word and I guess I'll have to come up with something!

I am a sales consultant for Natural Family Boutique and I can offer baby registries for many of the products you describe. We do not yet have an online registry system but you can create your wish list, we can mail or email it to your friends and family and they can conatct me to order the items.

If interested you can check out our products at

I registered for the same types of things you are talking about, but I did it on findgift.com. There are several online registries that are good for registering for just about anything you could possibly buy online. Just use a search engine and type in "free online gift registry" and something good will pop up. I have to tell you, though, that it's taken me a bajillion hours to do the registry. I keep finding better prices, or cuter stuff and changing my mind about things. :) But it's super fun!

Shockels...the store I mentioned that is across the street from Piccolino near the Clinton Street Theatre has a registry. They have some very yummy organic cotton, lots of dipes and natural stuff. Sorry I can't remember the name of the store!

Mother Nature's!!!!!
I love that place, too! The woman who runs it is soooooooo helpful! I'm bummed they don't have their registry online yet, otherwise I would have registered there! I'm having my shower in California, so needed something with an on-line registry...

You can also set up a wishlist at wishlist.com. It allows you to post items you want from any site on the internet--so if your sling and diapers and toys all come from different places, you can list all of them. It's not the best at tracking purchases--the buyer needs to go to the site and mark the item as purchased--but it does allow you to customize a list. Dh and I did this when we got married, because we didn't want stuff like China and crystal--we registered for wine, DVD collections, electronics, gift certificates, etc. It was great!

Felicite.com is like wishlist.com. It's an online registry that allows you to register for anything, including $$$. Felicite also has arrangements with lots of cool natural baby sites (like peppermint.com and ecobaby.com) that allow you to automatically add items to your Felicite registry just by clicking a button.

We used it for our wedding registry and it was great. We registered to donate a water buffalo for Heifer Project International, and people loved it. You can also choose to get the cash value of a gift rather than the gift itself if you change your mind about something. It also has a free online photo album and guestbook.

I have a friend who sells for Natural Family Boutique. I set up an awesome registry through her, and what's REALLY awesome is that it's one of those home party plan type deals, so I get "hostess credit" and half price items when people order stuff! :D So far, people have bought $100 worth of stuff I registered for, and I've gotten one of their super duper delux diapering packages for half price (160.00 instead of 320.00!)

Anyway, www.naturalfamilyboutique.com is the company's website and www.wholefamily.info is my friend, Dorian's website. You can email her from her website if you're interested.

As a quick aside, she's an earthy mom of two, who CD's, etc etc This is my first, so she was INVALUABLE in helping me determine what I'll need. Personalized service rocks. :D

Thanks for the tips! I don't think I'll be registering since this is baby #3 but it's nice to see that there are all of these natural options out there :love

I tried doing my registry at Felicite.com, spent a long time doing the whole thing, then realized that if your product isn't from a store that they are connected with, they charge the gift giver a fee!!! Plus they try to calculate taz and shipping on their own which isn't usually correct, gruuu, would recommened this sight!
