Making mini dolls…

Forgive my ignorance when it comes to doll making, but I am not usually a crafty person but I’d like to be! :)

Last night I made my son a family of pipe cleaner dolls and I was thrilled to see how excited he was to play with them! I’d like to make him something a little nicer, perhaps some mini cloth dolls. However I have no idea where to start, what to get, etc.

Any ideas or tips?

What kind of little dolls? I am enthralled with these (http://www.weefolkstudio.com/kits.htm) , I've tried to make a couple and just ordered her book Wee Felt Folk from amazon after waiting weeks for the library to hold it for me.

There are other kinds too, do you have a picture or link of what you have in mind?
