doll shoes/booties

Does anyone have instructions on how to go about making felt or knitted/croched doll shoes or booties? My kids have two dolls who are fully clothed, including sweaters but no shoes/booties!

Does anyone have that book Toy Making with Children by Freya Jaffke? There is a picture of some dolls wearing just the shoes that I want to make but I have no idea how to go about it. Any instructions/advice would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I don't know how big the dolls are but you might try searching for premmie knitting patterns online. There seem to be quite a few.
