I have hairballs!

OK, maybe not, but I feel like my cat. I have this wave of nausea that comes and just rises up and causes me to retch. Like, I stick out my toungue and go "GACK". I can't seem to throw up, which I think would be a relief. With DS, I threw up every morning before lunch and felt fine afterwards. This time, I just gag a lot in the morning and then feel yucky all day.

So, if you need a laugh, just imagine me here at my desk at work hacking up imaginary hairballs. :cat:

LOL... I have those too. I feel like I need to gag, but I'm not nauseated enough for anything to come up... so I just stand there and hack for awhile. Very sexy. :D

Ahhh... the dry heaves.... gotta love THAT feeling :irked: I have them, too. More often than not, I can't throw up and I'm just hacking away. Must be a pretty sight for my DS to watch or my DH to happen upon, :LOL

I do the exact same thing - I've never thrown up from morning sickness, just gagged and dry heaved a lot. It sucks. Rationally, I know I would feel better if I just let myself throw up, but I have such an aversion to it that I just can't let myself do it. (the only time I've thrown up in the past five years was massive food poisoning - twice)
