So... it's way early but I love names! Want to talk names?

What are you all thinking of?

Usually, I'm like a 7th month baby namer... but this time around my husband has taken the reins. :LOL It's actually pretty funny. He's usually really mellow, but he just NEEDS to name this baby. He has a really intense urge to do so! It's funny! But, I named Cicely our 2nd babe, so I *think* I'm agreeing to it.

Boy is totally after his grandfather which I have some issues with, but I think I could go with it IF *my* nickname choice is used...
Edward McPharlin K-----
He'd like to call him "Eddie" and I'd like to call him "Mick" for the McPharlin.

For a girl he wants
Josephine (I'm thrown a bone and get to choose the middle name) K----
We'd call her Joie

All in all, I think this baby is calling for a long name with a nickname, because our other children don't have shortened names:
Jude ... can't shorten that!
Cicely ... sometimes we call her CC, but it's mainly Cicely.

So... what are you all thinking?

Those are nice names. I know me and my dh are already looking into names as well. It is hard to come to a decision together!!!! He likes almost any name, and I'm really picky. It nice to have lots of time to find the perfect name for our babes! Goodluck!!

My husband and I have a really hard time agreeing on names. We do however have family names that we are "required" to use as middle names, so we have to come up with names that fit the middle names...Our daughter is Jocelyn Rebecca and we call her Josie. This baby, if its a girl we like Sophia Elizabeth( I guess call her Sophie, I want to call her Fifi but DH says NO WAY! guess I can see why!) and if its a boy Jacob Spencer (call him Jake) Hopefully we will come up with a couple others in case those names don't fit the baby....we seem to like the classical names but I don't want them to be too common...we like Alex also but we know 3 baby Alex's!

I love hearing everyone's name ideas and why you thought of them for the new baby and your other children! :)

My goddaughter is named Josephine, I think it's very pretty!

For boys we are thinking Jackson, Nicholas (Nick or Cole, not sure), or Nate.

For girls, we are thinking Natalie, Rebekah/Rebecca, or Abigail.

So far we have no names we agree on. Julia wasn't named until 4 weeks before she was born. Looks like we are going through that again.

DH thinks all of my names are too hippy and I think all of his names are too plain.

Maybe we should just stick a bunch in a hat and draw.

We have a Jaden Randal (Randal is hubby's middle name and FIL's first name).

If it's a girl her name will be Taliah Riann, we'll call her Tali for short and Riann is my middle name.

If it's a boy I think he will be Liam Jameson, Jameson come from James which is my brother, father, and grandfather's middle name and my greatgrandfather's first name. My maiden name was Goulding and there was even a James Goulding who came over on the mayflower, so it goes back a LONG ways. Although I could still change my mind about Laim, I just haven't found anything that DH and I like better. I like longer names that you can shorten to give them a nickname.
