View Full Version : Anyone not telling friends and family yet?????

hey everyone, I'm just wondering if anyone is keeping their pregnancy to themselves(and partner) for the first three months. Me and my dh are but a part of me wants to tell everyone. The other part of me wants to enjoy the news and keep it to ourselves for a while. Anyways hope everyone out there is feeling good!

We're planning on telling about 10 weeks, after I've seen the doctor.

We told our parents and they are sworn to secrecy until ATLEAST three months.

We have pretty much told everyone....we did with dd, too. Can't keep a secret! :) People knew we were thinking about starting to TTC soon and so it wasn't a big surprise, they always ask are you pregnant yet anyway. It makes me nervous though because I am a little superstitious....silly, girl....and just keep hoping nothing will go wrong!

I told, only because I super need some support after my m/c in January. Can't imagine going through that again alone...

I'm keeping quiet till I hit 12 weeks, I m/c my last 2 pregs and it was really hard dealing with everyone. It was so wrong, I had to comfort everyone instead of the other way around!

We wait as long as possible to tell because of history of m/c. Neither of us are very good at keeping secrets though... we will see how long it lasts.

I haven't told any one in real life yet, not even my DH! He is oversease untill the end of the month (he will only be there for 5 weeks or so total) and I want to really surprise him with a banner in front of our house and an ice cream cake that says "Welcome Home" then "Your gonna be a daddy... again!".

We have been TTC for 7 months but I only told my friends, sister and mom because I didn't want a ton of family saying "Are you pregnant yet?!" everytime they called. Now I am going to visit them from the 12th - 27th and I don't know how I will keep it from them! It will be hard enough not to tell DH in emails or over the phone, much less all of my friends who KNOW we are TTC!

I really hope I can pull this off. With DS DH and I were going to wait a few months but we lasted 3 days. :eyesroll
