Anyone have suggestions for a multi-tasking zip/button/fasten/etc. doll or toy pattern that is easy and indestructible?

The plastic fireman version by FP just looks really unappealing....

I get this catalog and they have a kit in it for an activity book. Just by looking at the pictures you can get some great ideas though.

Here is one book I found that has shapes to button on but no zippers or other fasteners. It still looks like a fun project I might tackle one day.

I'm not the OP but on the first website it's #6758 Quiet book pattern Or you can click on patterns and then Juvenile and it's on page 4. Looks very cool!

That's the book. Sorry but I forget to subscribe to posts half of the time! I think you can make a zipper and button page a little "tougher" by sandwhiching a layer of felt in between the outer page layers if that makes sense at all.
